We had quite a lot of luggage, but the hotel kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the official time. The view of the city and the square in front of Funchal’s cathedral was absolutely wonderful! The reception staff were attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was simple yet tasty, included in the price, and had a lovely atmosphere. The hotel team was always ready to help – for example, if you need a kettle, you can just ask at the reception. I would happily stay a few more nights in this hotel, enjoying its atmospheric rooms with beautiful views of the narrow streets of old Funchal.

With ocean views, Hotel Euro Moniz is only 100 metres from the pools in Porto Moniz. All Euro Moniz’s rooms have a cable TV and a bathroom with a bathtub or a shower. Some rooms feature balconies. A very nice gentleman at the front desk. Helpful and polite. Loved my bed, very comfortable. Thank you so much ❤️

The staff was lovely and welcoming. The room charming wtih a balcony overlooking the water. The breakfast was so delicious and a wonderful way to start our day as we headed out for our adventures. We used the restaurant for our first night and the food was amazing. We went back a second time and I, embarresingly(?)rdered the exact same meal because it was so craveable.

Quinta Santo Antonio da Serra ligt op het platteland van Madeira, op slechts 18 km van Funchal. Alle zelfstandige appartementen hebben een echte open haard met hout en een balkon. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en naar het appartement gebracht. Het was een erg mooi, oud huis met balken in het plafond en 2 verdiepingen. Met 2 badkamers en een goed uitgeruste keuken.
