Our stay was wonderful as we were there to be near the Bay with lovely views. It was very clean, the owners were friendly and helpful, the shower was great, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was great, breakfast was good, and the room could be cooled or heated as needed. We wished we didn't need to leave! FYI: the Tuan Chau area has fewer services and some of the new-ish buildings even appear to be abandoned before completion. That's not to fault the hotel, though. It actually made for a peaceful stay. Use Grab or Xanh to go to the mainland (Hanoi) for food, ATMs, etc.

The most important thing in a hotel is its staff, and right from the moment we checked in everyone was on their toes and always eager to help. This is one of rhe best hospitality oriented hotels i have stayed at. The girl at the reception was so kind and always smiling, the girl at the cafe made the best coffee, we had coffee at atleast 20 places in hanoi and halong, but she made the best coffee. And the night boy at reception duty was also very helpful and ready to help, truly a remarkable place, i was in touch with their senior/boss on whatsapp from India and he helped me book activities, prior to our arrival and also helped with very good transport from hanoi to halong. The best part was one day my wife was feeling sick and we were in the market and having difficulty getting transport to go to the medical store, he was so sweet and asked us to come back to the hotel and arranged medicines for us and also asked if we required a doctor. Coming to the place, it is a neat and clean hotel with nice rooms, just like the images, no surprises there, it is a well kept hotel in a quiet part of town and just walking distance to the beach and numerous restaurants. Overall this was truly an exceptional hotel with great service, i cant forget all the smiling faces right from the reception to the cafe. Well done team, keep up the good work.
