This vacation home is everything we could have asked for: a beautifully designed house like a piece of art - cozy and functional at the same time. The kitchen is fully equipped (with much more than you would expect) and is super inviting to spend time together. Everything was very clean and working perfectly. In the garden is a peach tree where we could pick some fruits and meet the lovely cats. Our whole family fell in love with this place. Highly recommended to stay here!

Everything was perfect. Very cute cottage with everything you might need. Bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The dryer and washing machine were an added bonus. We would definitely stay again.

The host was incredibly helpful, he picked us up from the nearest station, he took us to a shop in the town for us to pick up basic groceries and informed us of the nearest supermarket and boulangerie etc. We managed to communicate through translation tools but it worked well. The property is spacious, comfortable and clean. The air con in every room was a real bonus in the 38degree heat

This charming house is very spacious and supplied with everything you need. It is surrounded by a large garden, with many trees, roses, lavender and wildlife. Don't forget to bring your binoculars for we've spotted many birds (like owl, yellow oriole, woodpecker), hare and squirrels. The location is very central in the Loire region and many touristic spots are within a 45 min drive. The beds are very good, comfortable shower, the SPA is nice, and due to thick outer walls the house is at a constant 18-19 degree C. Communication with the owner was good, quick, friendly and (for us very nice) in English. All the ingredients one would need for a relaxing holiday.

A comfortable, large and well-equipped property that worked well for two families. Plenty of space inside and outside. Easy parking for two cars under cover. Children enjoyed the playroom. Easy walk into centre and to the lake. Plenty to do in local area. Chinon is a short distance away and well worth a visit. The host met us as arranged and was friendly and helpful even with our limited French!
