Incredibly clean with a lovely bath and very comfortable futon. The interior is a nice blend of traditional and modern features (I liked the tiling details!). An easy walk to both Tachibana and Asuka temples. Communication (Japanese) was clear and responsive.

Amazing place to stay in! Such a lot of stunning scenery. The accommodation was lovely and had a very authentic Japanese feel to it. The rooms were idyllic and we had the privilege of meeting the owner - she was very friendly and lovely. It was much bigger than expected and great value for money! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate for us and was always quick to respond to any questions and help us if we got stuck. If I ever get chance to return to Japan, I would definitely want to stay here again!
