The house is spacious, very clean, very comfortable, and located in a beautiful, silent place outside Magome-juku. A stay there was really relaxing. And I have noticed some people on trail, pasing by the house, and loudly admiring how nice it is. The hosts say they do not offer breakfasts, but it is a kind of a lie! There is absolutely enough food provided, to have a very good breakfast. And talking about the hosts - they are amazing, so helpful and welcoming, like I have never seen before. Their invaluable help and advices allowed us to visit every place in the nearest region that we planned to, despite the unfavorable weather.

The house is beautifully designed and peaceful & tranquil. The bed is really comfortable and the location was great for exploring the area by car or if walking the nakasendo. It is better in person than in the photos, it’s restored in a contemporary way with all of the amenities & a nice mix of traditional Japanese style. Tommy the host was amazing, he made us feel really welcome and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend the sushi dinner which he prepared for us.

Located at part of the Nakasendo trail when cars except local and business cars are not allowed. However the host helps delivery our luggage to the accommodation. We checked in our luggage in the morning before check-in, right before our hike to tsumago. By the time we are back from the hike, our luggage is at the accommodation. Traditional, Roomy, clean and beautiful place. The next morning we got the whole magome street to ourself without the crowd. More amenities are now being provided. Such as yukata, body scrub, coffee machine, water. We had a really pleasant and comfortable stay.
