It was one of my best stays in Sri Lanka! The host is extremely nice, friendly and thoughtful! I got sunstroke before I arrived and there was even a thermometer in the villa! The host has a lovely smile and is a great cook - I had one of the best sambols in Sri Lanka over there! I even got a present from the host cause she makes some art you can see in the villa which btw was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything worked properly. You get a western standard for the Sri Lankan price.

Sati Villa is an amazing place, like a peace of heaven. Beautiful villa surrounded by nature, very quiet. We pass 2 nights at the villa with the kids and enjoyed each moment. The staff was perfect and they answer all our requests. The meals were taste, local specialities with twist to align with our needs. Our stay was absolutely faultless and all of the staff were lovely. We had a wonderful relaxing stay with some amazing food! It was a beautiful location surrounded by nature, we saw so much wildlife and the noises of all the birds are amazing! The road to The Weir House was quite an adventure which we loved as we felt in the middle of the jungle but does make it harder to access. We visited Kandy in a tuktuk and it took us around 50 minutes but was a beautiful journey, the botanical gardens were stunning. From The Weir House we went to Yala which was an amazing journey with some cultural stops along the way, I would highly recommended our driver Pradeep (SN travel) who the hotel organised for us. Would highly recommend!

The hospitality of the hosts was amazing. They collected our luggage on arrival and made sure everything in the room was ready. We were the only one staying in the whole property at the time of check-in so we got a VIP treatment. The chef is an amazing cook and the Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. The chef was really considerate of our food requirements and made sure the food was according to our taste. The property serves halal food.

Location is beautiful, althought not easy to get there.. The Staff was very helpful providing directions and also went down the hill to escort our car. There were a few problems with electrical equippment, but the Menager quickly fixed it on request. We enjoyed a little hike in the nearby woods. The place also has it's own little garden. Last but not least they served the Best fruit juices we've had in Sri Lanka :)
