When we arrived at the property the owner was already waiting for us with the keys. He was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. Asked us how much water needs to be filled in the swimming pool so that the kids are comfortable. The property was so green, mango trees were filled with ripe mangoes, banana trees, date trees and to add it up it was raining which made it more magical. The property was clean, impeccable and the fridge had mangoes and dates for us. Even the kitchen is filled with utensils so for a family you are not far away from your home

- charming garden for relaxation with many seating options - clean rooms with comfortable beds - enough hot water with good strong flow - no light smog, no wifi We enjoyed simple but very comfortable and functional accommodation. We were enchanted by the beautiful garden around the house, where we relaxed in our free time. The adults enjoyed the peace and energy of the place, the children the swings, the hammock and the visit of the cat lady. I can imagine to spend here more than two days!

At first we couldn't find it. But after a phonecall to the number at the bookingreservation, we received the right address. The host was humble, very friendly and we felt really welcome there. This house was perfect for us to stay overnight near Jebel Shams. We had a 4WD car but our host offered to have a ride to the canyon (for an additional fee) and I am happy to accept it as road conditions to the canyon is far from easy, this was the best money we spent during our trip. The house is big, quiet, beds are a little hard for our comfort zone but slept well overall. Dinner and breakfast was very very good, made by the wife of our host, so we could enjoy some home made food finally. Loved to stay here, come here if you want a remote location, we could make photos about the milky way in the night, very little light pollution, sunset and sunrise were also beautiful.

This was an unexpected gem, in an unlikely location. You cannot beat it for location, at the start of the Balcony Walk in Jebel Shams. Mohammed the owner organised for his neighbour Ali (and his wife) to cook dinner and breakfast for us. The food was delicious! The house itself is very comfortable and well kitted out, even if you want to self-cater. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This place is amazing! Starting with a stunning view of the mountains nearby and in distance. The whole house is brandnew and you will hardly find any cleaner rooms. The kitchen has all necessities that you need includung utensils, coffee, tea, spices etc. The beds were very comfy for us and we slept realy well. Thank you to Hommad and his brother who took well care of us. He offers also offroad trips into the Wadi Nakhar including breakfast in the gorge and hiking, leading us to a pool inside the Wadi for a refreshing swim. Altogether this was an amazing stay and we are so grateful to have chosen this place!😃👌
