It is deceptively roomy, exceptionally clean, and fully equipped with all of the modern mod cons (including excellent wi-fi and access to streaming sites). You can also park your car in the fenced-off garden next to the chalet 👌🏻 There are a handful of local shops and eateries just around the corner - which are convenient and also add to the general “off-the-beaten track” ambience of the place 🙂 Tamara, our very thoughtful and organised hostess, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The location is perfect, it is basically right at the Danube. A small stairs is available from the garden to easily get down to the river bank. A bike trail goes right on tthe shore, and a number of places for fishing are available. The house is very well equipped with comfy beds and a spacious living room.

Excellent reconstruction of the original smithery. Original walls, main door and ceiling beautifully refurbished. New replocas of historical windows. Nice new bathroom, kitchen and main room. tremendous rooofed terrace. Nice garden. If you are looking for peace and silence in a historical object then this is the place. National park Djerdap (Danube Iron Gate) is a must so see. Bakery with fantastic burek and cakes not far. Shops with kajmak, feta and plazma cubes in vicinity. Really nice place to stay.
