Everything as described/ expected except that there were some lucious grapes too. The owner gave great instructions/ directions on getting to the place. The neighbour's dogs made me feel like I had just the right amount of company/protection. Once inside there are big grounds with grape vines and the cottage is like a mini ethnographic museum. I used it as a base to go visit some of the mountain huts and it was perfect for that but it's also a good option for backpackers (kind of urban camping but without the need for stealth) on a budget.

It looks better than the photos! Well manicured lawn, big pool, sun beds, all you need for a good holiday! The room was spotless clean with impeccable white linen and towels. And is very, very quiet! Only birds and whispers from the neighbors. The manager was very polite & helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay! This guesthouse offers genuine rustic charm with all the essential comforts—a perfect blend of tradition and necessity. The biggest highlight is that it's 100% pet-friendly. Our friendly, medium-sized dog, Lea, had a wonderful time. The property is incredibly secure, which gave us the peace of mind to leave Lea safely in the courtyard while we went sightseeing. We truly appreciated this level of safety and hospitality! The location is excellent for exploring the very picturesque Rose Valley of Bulgaria. A highly recommended retreat for travelers with or without pets looking for an authentic base in a beautiful region.
