The property is non-smoking and is situated 12 km from Camosun College. Julia the host was very friendly, she even called and messaged us when she discovered a bag that we had left behind after checking out. Julia had thought of most things one could need. The accommodation consisted of bedroom, lounge/diner and bathroom. Everything was very clean, coffee/tea making facilities, cups etc in lounge. Large TV in lounge, large desk at end of bed. Bed lovely and comfortable. Welcome pastries and milk were found in the fridge. Welcome messages and card signed by all the family found in the lounge. Thank you Julia and family for making us feel most welcome.

The rooms come with a balcony with views of the river. It’s a wonderful place. The surrounding nature is so beautiful and the view from the big windows of the room is just incredible. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely furnished. There is everything you need for a short stay - and if not, you have just to contact the owner, Harold. He was so friendly, helpful (he provided us great advice about the places we could see there) and at the same time discrete and polite! There are some canoes, so one can go through the little canal from the Inn into the river, there are balconies to enjoy the view - and one has even a bath, so you can bath on the open balcony watched by the birds! (If it’s not what you want, there is a shower in the normal bathroom, too). There was a beaver who came every day, and wild gooses and herons outside. Very beautiful, well-groomed Inn, with beautiful places nearby to enjoy the Canadian nature.

Great location to walk down the stairs nearby and be right on the main drag.

Cottage was sparkling clean with comfy beds, powerful shower & plush towels. Well stocked kitchen & washer/dryer were super helpful for longer stays. Really appreciated modern conveniences (electronic blinds, night lights in bath) & thoughtful small touches (drinks in fridge, cotton pads/swabs in bath, etc). Most importantly, awesome hosts - friendly, accommodating, and proactive. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely stay again when we return to the area.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Victoria, Charming scape by Bear Mountain features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 9 km from Royal Roads University. The property was the perfect location for a family reunion. We all had ample space. We spent time to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. A lot of thought went into ensuring that everything was functional. Small things, like plenty of plates so that you do not have to wash up plates before using the next one. Spices were provided along with a lot of other complimentary food items. Hassy even left us a complimentary bottle of wine! Over the top really and not expected. The quality of the house was exceptional and way better than we were expecting! We run a lodge in northwest BC and know how much work goes into providing high quality service. Hassy is as good at it gets! Highly recommend.
