The bungalows are awesome, with A/C in the bedrooms (extremely necessary). We were with our 18 month old toddler and the following was awesome with a kid: - less than a block’s walk to the beach (chill dirt road) - ground level bungalow and fully gated property so pretty safe for her to run around - a smaller pool in addition to the big pool that she could stand in (she’s 80 cm tall) and has an umbrella so it can be fully shaded - had her own air-conditioned room (and they provided a big pack-n-play/crib) - no breakfast, but just 50 m toward the beach is an amazing breakfast place that we went to every morning (Bridgett’s Ranch - so many animals, wild and domesticated!)

The owner Charlene has a lovely apartments. Our was beautiful, large, confortable, clean, the kitchen is well eqquiped. There is an hamaca to lay down and a lovely terrace to relax. Next to our apartment we also have a play ground for kids, we were travelling with kids and that was just perfect. We also hired bikes with seats , the owner helped us out to arrange the booking, she also fixed a problem with a bike that we have straight away;) Near by the minivan plyas, beaches (play cocles, chiquita)and we could also ride to Playa Uvita. Near by restaurants, supermarkets. She also washed our clothes and dry it with 6 $. We had a lovely time in here..just in the middle of the jungle..on our way we saw many animals. Thanks Charlene!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Los Delfines Lodge very much! Miguel and Marta are great hosts. They are extremely helpful, supported us, even washed and dried our cloth and drove us with their car. The house has a beautiful garden and a nice kitchen. We definitely recommend Los Delfines Lodge and would come again.

Comprising a garden and barbecue facilities, Green Corner is a recently renovated accommodation in Cahuita located close to Blanca. The accommodation is fairly basic, but had everything we needed. Loved the outside kitchen. The host, Monica, was very helpful and even arranged a dentist appointment for us when my wife broke a tooth. The great thing is the location, right on the edge of the national park and less than a 5 minute walk into Cahuita. We were lucky to see 15-20 howler monkeys in the garden as well as capuchin monkeys and an agouti. We actually saw more wildlife while chilling out at the property than we saw in the national park.

It’s my 7th visit to Puerto Viejo, since I fell in love with this place, and this was far better than anything I rented here before. It’s just something else…I guess when the plants grow higher this will look as you were living in the jungle. But even now, when it’s new, you have that experience. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, the manager really knows his job. I’m not sure whether I most enjoyed the early mornings, when the jungle switches on and the howler monkeys wake you up, or the evenings, for the illumination of the resort is just another experience. I like a log…it’s beautiful, amazing and outstanding, really
