We had a superb experience with George & Silvana. They went out of their way to make us feel not just welcome but truly prized guests. After an exhausting trip to get to Puerto Plata (from the West Coast of the US), our troubles & worries melted away because of our hosts' warm accommodation of our needs. The Villa is extremely well located (1.5 blocks from Ocean World Terminal), very convenient for walking access to board our boat. Equally easy walk to the beach, a lovely place beyond a grass green (with shade) enjoyed by the locals. Beach was not crowded, with reclining chairs & beach shacks that sell souvenirs & beach items. The beach was lined with resorts, but locals enjoyed it just as well as the visitors. Beach chairs were available for us to use for free. Peaceful and relaxing. This apartment is part of a small building complex, newly remodeled modern facility with plenty of room. The top level (3rd floor) is a common area with picnic accouterments, shade and a fabulous view of the town (Cofresi), beach & ocean. Generously spacious living room, well appointed kitchen & quiet bedroom. Kitchen thoughtfully stocked with utensils, working sharp knives, salt & pepper, coffee pot (and fresh coffee grounds), etc., with all necessary appliances (no dish washer). Everything was super clean and functioned well: hot water (no potable water out of the faucet in DR but our hosts provided good drinking water), refrigerator, lights, and fans. Did not use the AC in the bedroom - breezy 80F (in early March) was comfortable. We made quick dinner & breakfast for ourselves. Everything worked, and we lacked for nothing We were at the street level facing the gated front door. Some noise in the evening if windows were open. But we heard nothing in the bedroom toward the back of the unit. Quiet and safe behind a locked gate.

Je recommande à tout le monde, c’est Villa. Insta @carlisto_manage, Il y a trois télévision, une dans chaque chambre, une dans le salon, cuisine tout équipée, deux salles de bain Franchement, tout est confortable ici , la preuve j’ai demandé à faire des jours en plus.

Very welcoming and clean. The owner was great and her assistant was very nice and helpful when we needed them. The pool was a good size and clean. Very modern kitchen and bathrooms. I will definitely stay here again.
