There was a slight problem with the Lodge but John quickly sorted out so we got a chance to stay in the Tower too. Both properties had everything needed, kitchen was extremely well equipped with oven and hob. Setting was beautiful and would love to go back in the summer.

The bedroom in the tower is very comfortable - best night sleep since of our trip. It is a pleasure to cook in the kitchen with a lovely gas cooker. My French is limited so communication was a little hard but this young man spoke slowly for us and I was able to understand him. The host came later in the evening to check all was ok. The accommodation was magnificent and very well equipped with everything you can think of. The location is rural which is the reason I booked it so we loved it but for anyone who relies on walking places or public transport it won’t suit you. Overall as we were there for business we were only 2 nights but I would definitely bring the family for a week and encourage others to do the same. Lots of activities in the area also
