Die in der Region Grampian in Tomintoul gelegene Unterkunft Glenlivet by Wigwam Holidays bietet einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz. I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

This was just wonderful, I’d have stayed longer had it been available. Such a cutely furnished tiny house. The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

In the same building at Fiddichside in. Which is a great local to go to, really friendly staff, great whisky at great prices. Very close to highlander, craigellachie and easy access to the walk all the way into Aberlour. We love it here and will definitely go back! The lounge, kitchen and rooms were all exactly what we like in a place.

Die Unterkunft Aileen - Unique tiny house with wood fired roll top bath in heart of the Cairngorms verfügt über Bergblick und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Balkon und einem Wasserkocher,... Cosy and as advertised. it was clean and well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Easy to locate, and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Great for stargazing and just to disconnect and relax in a quiet place. Everything seems handcrafted which is very twee and nice in this day and age.

Every thing was perfect , plenty of room and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook , Paul Hollywood would be impressed , bathroom just needs a shower tidy for bottles , the beds were really comfy , the location is absolutely brilliant right on the harbour , it isn’t noisy it’s a nice sound of people enjoying themselves , you can literally roll to the harbour pub/restaurants which are nice . Some great walks and the off road parking space is a bonus .

Die in Ballindalloch gelegene Unterkunft Easter Corrie Cottages ist 44 km von Huntly Castle und 49 km von Elgin Cathedral entfernt. We LOVED this place. The cottage had everything we could have wished for. The bay window in the living room gives stunning 24/7 views on the hills, and the hundreds of birds feeding on the bird feeders in the garden. The really! free range chicken occasionally say hi, and we enjoyed their eggs every morning. The utility room is accessible for the guests and has a deep freezer, fresh eggs (honesty box), games & dvds, and a washing machine (with soap pods, provided). We followed a hike path recommended by the host toward the nearby summit, with a 360° view on the Glenlivet Estate.
