The location was exceptional (secluded but easy to access, short drive to Plitvice NP) the outdoor deck and garden was enjoyable. Amenities were great. There was tous for the kids and we enjoyed the spa. Željka was very welcoming and friendly. She sorted out a couple things for our trip and gave us a lot of advice.

Where do I even begin? This is Plitvice’s best kept secret! Vanja and husband are 5 star hosts and live in a property next door. They are very responsive and super helpful. The home (it is a home and not just some accomodation) is sparkling clean and cosy. Well equiped with under floor heating and pristine white towels and sheets. There are two rooms on the top level with one large bathroom and another large bedroom downstairs with the other large bathroom. The kitchen thou small packs a big punch and has a microwave, dishwasher, oven, stove and coffee machine. Everything is generously provided for from the washing detergent and paper towels. There was even some welcome treats waiting for us and Vanja is a fantastic baker too! Breakfast is super yummy and personally made by Vanja. She cares about hosting and it shows. The gardens and surrounding areas must be lovely in summer with many fruit trees that Vanja makes good jam with. Not to mention the infrared sauna and hot tub! As we are visiting in January the snow just makes everything extra special and our young children just loved playing outside. We enjoyed our stay here so much we regret that we didn’t stay longer. When there is such good hospitality at one’s doorstep - take it. It honestly feels like coming home to family!

It felt very homely, loved the location, so peaceful, felt like we were right in the country but could walk to facilities and within easy drive to the lakes and some great restaurants. Beautiful outlook from the house. Very generous with offer of barbecue, wood etc, overall fantastic value for money.

My husband and I arrived around 10pm at Korenica and host welcomed us and escorted us to the accommodation. Warm welcome, she took time to explain everything altough it was late at night. House is so sweet and cozy, it has everything you need. Peace and quiet cannot be beaten. Owner told us to puck plums in the garden, they have a lot of them. And so in the morning I decided to go outside and do it, despite the rain. And it was great experience! I’ve picked the famous Lika plums and I felt like at home.
