The place was beautiful, the staff was super warm and welcoming, special thanks to Fifi and Ririn :) The fish for dinner was one if not the best meal we had since we arrived in Indonesia.

The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

Die Unterkunft Three Queen Villa and Homestay mit Gartenblick in Waikabubak bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, einem Garten, einem eigenen Strandbereich und einer Terrasse. Lydia was a brilliant host, nothing was too much trouble, she, organised motorbikes for us as well as a car and driver for our trip back to the airport via a lovely beach club, also horse riding, advice on what to do and see, and she even spent time teaching my husband to cook some local dishes. Her children were absolutely delightful. The new swimming pool was great and will be amazing once the decking is finished. The rooms were extremely comfortable. If you really want to avoid the tourist crowds and spend some time in an incredible unspoilt location then this will be perfect for you. We would highly recommend getting round on the mopeds as it is the best way to see the absolutely stunning scenery (but be careful of potholes and slippery mud if it rains).
