The property is non-smoking and is located 1.4 km from Rua Beach. It was clean and pretty, just as you see it on the pictures. You can see the amazing sunrise over the ocean from the Villa. Foremost, the staffs were just so genuinely lovely - they are so nice, friendly and helpful, they always try to accommodate you, cared about how you are doing, and even arranged guides/drivers that were costumed to meet my needs. The guides/drivers they arranged were so lovely as well. You cannot just go out to eat (it’s the nature of this island - big and intact nature), but the food was wonderful, lots of selections - local Sumba food and other food - so I was very happy with having dinner at the hotel every night. I really really loved the place and the staff, they definitely helped me fall in love with the island! Truly highly recommended!!!

The room was new, spacious, and very clean. The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

Oro Beach Houses is a piece of Paradise - beautiful, spacious and clean villas a stone throw from a gorgeous white sandy beach. The owner and the staff are super friendly, the food is wonderful and the setting is lovely. We stayed here at the end of a great week in Sumba. It was the best value accommodation we stayed in. It is close to the airport and very easy to find. Thoroughly recommend!!

The villa is located on a beautiful hill. You can just sit in the balcony and relax all day long. Accommodation is clean, providing water refill, so you so not need to buy plastic bottles. They have a restaurant there with delicious food. Breakfast was amazing as well. The staff very friendly.

Quiet place, wooden authentic villa with a balcony facing the hills and river. Everyday, we got a beautiful sunrise view. The staff is very helpful, especially Ina the reception lady. She helped me to book the motor bike and arrange my transfer to the west sumba. She also shared some tips for the destinations we need to visit in East Sumba. The food is amazing. Simple but tasty and make us full. Thank you for the hospitality 😊

Hars garden’s is a jewel in the middle of Sumba. from the perfect hospitality Har gave us along our stay, to the location and view itself up to the cozy sweet little cabins and villas. we were at cloud 9. need less to say the food was really good, the rental bikes were in great condition and Sumba is a magical place. we will definitely come back in a few years.

Great views! The small villas all have a balcony and I could just sit there forever. I also liked the village life leading up to Morinda. It is great to motorbike around. Although English of the staff was a bit limited they helped us perfectly with a cheap taxi to West Sumba.
