The view from the cottage was breathtaking. Drinking coffee in the mornings while gazing out at the spectacular scenery was truly unforgettable. It was also a pleasure to watch the friendly alpacas roaming on the farm. Jo and Sue, the hosts, were incredibly helpful yet allowed us to enjoy our stay with complete independence. The nearby tourist attractions were all within a short drive—no more than 30 minutes away. We had the most magical Christmas ever, and it was all thanks to your wonderful hospitality and the charm of the cottages.

We especially enjoyed the walk around the farm, surrounded by animals, which made our experience even more memorable. Set 38 km from Wicklow Gaol, the property features a garden. The property is non-smoking and is situated 35 km from Glendalough Monastery. Right from the start, communication was easy and helpful. The house and décor were absolutely beautiful (and spotlessly clean) and the garden and views were so lovely. The bed was really comfortable. All of the little touches that the owner has made added so much to the experience, including plenty of toiletries, homemade scones and milk/wine waiting in the fridge for us. While we didn't stay long enough to make use of them, there are plenty of books and even board games for guests. I'd say it's probably the nicest accommodation I've ever stayed in and I can't wait to go back!

Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. We loved having a promenade right outside our door along the Irish Sea. We chose it as a place away from Dublin where we could recover from jet lag. It didn’t disappoint. We liked the laid back atmosphere of Wicklow and enjoyed walking and resting before starting our driving tour of the country.
