Absolutely perfect for our group. Attending family wedding, spacious, great location, comfortable, warm. Host was so welcoming couldn't have been more accommodating. Highly recommend it.

It was very comfy and clean, exactly like the pictures. What more can we say when you wake up with birds singing and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. We will be back if we visit Athlone again.

Just returned from the most relaxing weekend spent at Pheasant Lane. When I say this place is a hidden gem, it really is. Geraldine was so lovely and showed us around the facilities. We loved the hot tub and the sauna at night. The fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter was fab. Special mention to how comfy the beds were! We all slept amazingly. I will be recommending Pheasant Lane to everyone I know - I already can’t wait to come back 😊

A charming cosy place to stay in a beautiful peaceful location, we couldn't have asked for anything more, Irene was lovely and very helpful, would recommend the milking parlour, will definitely be back ...

Marianne Cottage at Johnsfort is gelegen in Ráistín, op 14 km van Monastery of Kells, 14 km van St. Everything! The cottage is over 200 years old and is located on a small farm with lots of animals. The hostess was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, interesting and all around awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. I was able to bottle feed a lamb and we collected fresh eggs from the hens for breakfast. We enjoyed the cottage and estate so much, we cancelled some of our plans to chill at the cottage. We hope to return in the future with extended family and rent both cottages.
