Bei unserer Ankunft wartete eine liebevolle Begrüßung auf uns: hausgemachte Scones mit Butter und Marmelade. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, gleichzeitig ist das Stadtzentrum mit dem Auto in nur wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Ein besonderes Highlight: Unsere Tochter hatte während des Aufenthalts Geburtstag und wurde mit einer Karte und einem Geburtstagskuchen überrascht – eine wirklich nette Geste! Zu Beginn gab es ein kleines Problem mit dem Warmwasser, das aber sofort und unkompliziert behoben wurde. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Die in Doolin gelegene Unterkunft Wild Meadow Huts ist 10 km von Cliffs of Moher und 3,5 km von Pol an Ionain entfernt. Our stay overall was really great! From arrival, when we found the keys in the hut door, to departure, everything went smoothly and nicely! Communication with hosts was easy and quick over Booking or WhatsApp, and we even got upgraded into a nicer and bigger hut for free (due to some unfortunate mishappening with our originally booked hut). Our Meadowsweet hut was big enough to have a small kitchenette, a bathtub, a big bed and toilet with shower. Kitchen was very nicely equipped with beautiful new utencils and everything you need to make a comfortable breakfast. For dinner, there are several pubs at walking distance. The host even left us a small bottle of sparkling wine and sweets as a welcome! We also loved the hot tub which was located near the huts and used it with a lot of pleasure every evening. It was obviously very quiet in the area, we didn't hear the other guests at all, and it felt like we were essentially alone! It was a bit complicated to find the place at first (small and narrow country roads), but it was absolutely worth it! Highly recommended!

From the moment I stepped through the front door, it was clear that Chris & Steph had put an incredible amount of thought and care into ensuring that guests have a memorable and comfortable experience. The attention to detail throughout the house was remarkable. Each room boasted its own unique flair, with beautiful paintings that added character and charm, making the space feel like a home away from home. It's not often that you find such an eclectic mix of art that resonates so well. Another standout feature was the warm welcome we received upon arrival. As soon as we drove up, we were greeted and presented with a lovely welcome pack that included bread, eggs, scones, jam, and honey. In summary, this rental home was a rare find that made our stay exceptionally pleasant. Therefore, I definitely recommend it.
