Our time at the villa near Cherai Beach was pure bliss! With AC keeping us cool, we spent lazy days lounging by the shore and cozy evenings bonding over stories and games. It was a magical escape with friends that we'll cherish forever!

The villa is located in a quiet part of Cherai with a part of the beach all to ourselves! The host is amazing - he brought us everything we asked for, ordered food on our behalf and recommended great places to eat. Our stay was comfortable and having such easy access to the beach was a bonus. Everything went super smoothly. I recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Cherai at their own pace.

Location is good. The family villa was spacious with two rooms and could easily accommodate 4 persons. Food is average.

Vala house is located in a quieter more peaceful area of Cherai beach, making it a calm oasis. The rooms are incredibly high in quality, with nice furniture, artwork and nice bathroom giving it a luxury feel. The rooms each have a private terrace area overlooking the backwaters. The staff and friendly and helpful and organised a delicious breakfast of traditional kerela staples every morning. There is a much smaller quieter beach a few mins walk away and then the main bigger beach with restaurants etc 5 mins by Tuktuk.

Beautifully presented property in a great location overlooking the lake. Incredibly friendly staff who allowed us to use the Villa pool as it wasn’t booked. We also had free use of the bicycles. Breakfast was delicious. All in all, a wonderful way to unwind at the end of two weeks travelling in Kerela.
