What made the stay even more special was the warm and heartfelt welcome from Manohar. His hospitality truly made us feel at home! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Will surely be back.

Khagendrabhai and Sova are not just hosts, I felt they are our friends, taking care of every bit of our stay and travel silently. Right from our stay, food, arranging the car driven by Kushalbhai, another great friend everything! Food was superb! Hospitality of the whole team of Takdah Heritage Bunglow 10 was great. We went all the way from Singapore, and planning again to spend more time there in near future mainly to relax and enjoy the company of Khagendrabhai and team. We really regret spending only one night there during this visit.

The kitchen has every basic necessities such as induction oven, microwave, refrigerator, utensils included. The bedrooms are spacious, provided with air conditioning and water supply has central heating. Toilets are clean and has liquid handwash, shampoo, conditioner. There is a well decorated lawn infront of the property and it is gated. Our caretaker was indeed a super hero who took care of all the details to make our stay as memorable as possible. My pet dog enjoyed her stay, basking in the sun during winter on the lawn for extended period. The kind, considerate gentlemanly owner also provided a complimentary swimming pool access for the first day. Would always recommend for a place to stay for a couple of days or more away from city life. Excellent location. Excellent facilities. Promenade has great thali options for a good bang for bucks. You have a carrom board and bluetooth speakers for enjoyment.

It is really difficult to actually write about what I liked as there are so many. However, few things were so good that I will always remember. Firstly, the food. It was by far the best Bengali cooking I have ever tasted. We did not expect that tge food will be this delicious and were caught off guard when we actually tasted it. Secondly, The hospitality. The property was managed by Debnarayan dada and his family. They showed what true Bengali 'আতিথেয়তা' meant. They almost felt like my own relatives who's home we were visting. Thirdly, the serenity. Absolutely amazing. The greenery, the sunlight, the architecture, the slow and calm environment consists the true spirit of Shantiniketan. To sum it up, the total experience was something mesmerising. Totally recommended.
