We were in the Turquoise cabin. The location was the perfect base for exploring the Golden Circle and the neighbouring Selfoss. It was also convenient to Keflavik Airport as well as Reykjavik. In the town, there are restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery shops and petrol stations if you just want to hang about the village. We walked to the brewery our first night - everything’s within a 10-15 minute walk. There’s also some hiking and thermal springs close by (we didn’t get to dip in the springs because we ran out of daylight). On to the property - it was like being home and living near a friendly neighbour. It felt very private and the cabin was very warm in freezing temperatures. (once we identified the one window that was left on breathe!) There was everything we needed for cooking/eating and the coffee machine was a bonus. There’s no cable TV, but that was perfectly fine - we just cosied up to some Netflix movies at the end of the day (when we weren’t in the sauna or hot tub). The bathroom was spacious and clean and soap, etc. was available, which was unexpected and handy. The bedroom was comfortable for the both of us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we sleep like babies the entire stay. Our favourite parts of our stay were the sauna and hot tub. We enjoyed a couple of sauna sessions during our stay and spent a few nights in the hot tub. On our last night, we were slightly bummed that we didn’t see the northern lights and around the time we were thinking to get out, they appeared and put on the most beautiful show. We didn’t have our cameras, but it’s a memory that will live with us for a long time. Last, but not least, the hosts were incredible and friendly and available when we needed them. They were also very communicative before and during our stay. We’ve been considering a second trip when the weather improves, and if we’re down that way, we Weill certainly stay in the Backyard Village again.

Everything was super clean and well prepared. There’s a beautiful mountain river right behind the house — so peaceful. The home has everything you might need. We truly recommend staying here!

Towels and bed linen are available in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Beautiful, comfortable house with plenty of space for our group. The beds were very comfortable, the house was warm and bright. The view from the big picture windows was excellent. We also enjoyed seeing the horses across the road and the tractors trundling around. The hot tub was also excellent, the instructions were very clear and it was easy to use. The only thing extra that would help is an estimate of how long the tub takes to fill, the first night we didn't start it filling until after dinner and it took too long to fill so we couldn't use it that night.

When staying at the holiday home, guests can use private entrance. An absolute highlight on our 2-week Iceland trip. The place is spacious and very clean, extremely comfortable and well equipped. Spent most spare time in the perfectly temperate hot tub soaking in the midnight sun and the peace this place has. Communication was very proactive and friendly, 10/10, would love to move in right away ;)

Mosas cottages is set in Fludir, within 33 km of Geysir and 43 km of Gullfoss Waterfall. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy garden views. We loved simply everything! The host was always responsive before and after check-in and made sure we had everything upfront (information how to get there, how to open the door, how to use the hot tub etc.). The cottages are located outside the big cities and we were lucky to get a glimpse of the northern lights (even though not too bright because of clouds). We hadn`t had the time to use the hot tubs unfortunately, but they looks super clean and well-maintained. If I ever have the chance to come back to this area, I will definitely stay here! Thank you!

The house looks new and very clean and comfortable and has a wonderful hot Jacuzzi The house at very wonderful quite place ( I will definitely book again for the same house)

Would definitely go here again! The location was beautiful and close to the geysers, also very private which was nice! Bedrooms were great— plenty of room! Everything was clean. Beautiful kitchen and cosy living room. Perfect getaway!!
