The town itself is very quaint and has some excellent restaurants and there are amazing views all around. I was there with a group of 4 and we took over both apartments, upstairs and downstairs, which was really fun, it felt like we could really move in. This is an incredibly quiet and sleepy town, so no concerns about noise at night. I would recommend this location for people who would like to visit Montepulciano / Siena and the surrounding area, but don't want to stay in a heavily touristic town, but also want to be in a spot where they can walk to dinner (Ristorante Daria was excellent, for example, and just down the road). For those who like it quiet and peaceful, this is a really great location for this area.

Der Ausblick von unserem privaten Patio war jeden Tag wieder etwas besonderes. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet und sowieso ist die Wohnung rustikal und gemütlich. Bei Michele und seiner Frau gibt es Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion zu kaufen. Die beiden sind sehr herzlich und freundlich. Trotz Sprachbarrieren haben wir uns plötzlich in ihrer Küche bei selbstgebackenem Kuchen und Likörverkostung wiedergefunden. Die wunderschöne Altstadt von Montepulciano ist nur 5 Autominuten entfernt. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und können diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Mückenspray nicht vergessen.

Let's start with the fact that when you book a one-bedroom house, you book a separate apartment that occupies one floor of a separate house. The house has 2 apartments - on the ground floor and the first floor. It suited for our group of 3 well. The house is in an old-fashioned style, but recently renovated, it stands in a large olive grove right next to the gates of the medieval village of S. Angelo in Colle. The village (walk around will take max half and hour) and its surroundings are very picturesque. There are many wineries around. In the village itself there are even 2 very good restaurants (recommend) and a small shop. If you are going to cook (there are all the conditions for this) - it is better to shop in Montalcino. The apartment is very spacious: a large and comfortable bedroom, a large kitchen with a spacious common dining and lounge area. There is a barbecue area in the garden, where you can relax after a trip on foot or by car around the area. The hostess is very nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.
