Excellent stay in Colombo, extremely welcoming hosts, very pleasant room and delightful swimming pool. The owners went out of their way to help us with organising transport (and even a hospital visit!)

All aspects of the property were lovely - the lush green tea fields were beautiful and learning about the process of their tea was fascinating. The lodging area was clean, comfortable, and spacious - we loved the view paired with the indoor pool. The food was delicious - My partner is Sri Lankan and we enjoyed the Sri Lanka dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were continuously impressed at the flavors. The staff is kind and helpful. All around, this was a wonderful getaway from the city for a weekend and we’re excited to return!

Khan Clock Tower is 15 km from the villa and Leisure World is 27 km away. Staying at Cottage by the Lake in Thalawathugoda was truly the best experience of my lifetime! The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering the perfect level of comfort. The serene surroundings and picturesque views make it an ideal retreat for nature lovers It's like stepping into a little paradise. The owner is an absolute gem. So kind, warm, and accommodating, which made our stay even more delightful. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway close to nature with exceptional hospitality, this is the place to be!
