The main house is rather grande, attention to detail is the modus operandi. Rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable beds, mosquito net, fan and AC, all the mod cons. The hosts are very welcoming and kind hearted, wanting to facilitate above and beyond. Can highly recommend.

Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 4 km from Negombo City. Bicycles are available for rent, while traditional Sri Lankan breakfast is served upon request at an extra cost. Beautiful garden with home grown fruits, the staff is out of his way to assist, the room is perfect and the swimming pool is an amazing treat! Great breakfast and very quiet, calm vibes. We wish we could stay longer.

Everything was completely clean and well taken care of, which made it so comfortable. The privacy was 💯, so I could truly relax and unwind. The pool was amazing for lounging and enjoying some quiet time, and the food was really good. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Honestly, it was the perfect escape, and I can’t wait to come back....
