It was so homey, warm, and absolutely authentic. We felt very welcomed and cared for (food obviously tasted out of this world, but the experience itself was unmatched). The house and surroundings - just wow. Beautifully arranged, the terrace has the most breathtaking view of rice fields, palm trees and houses emerged into the scenery. Morning sounds of birds with morning coffee was the best way to wake up you could imagine. The house itself is beautiful and very stylish. It was honestly one of the best home stays/hotels we’ve ever been to, it was extremely sad to leave, but surely a place to come back to.

This residence is exceptional. From arrival to departure all the staff were friendly willing to help and flexible. My partner and I enjoy an early coffee at our home and looked forward to something not Nescafe. Spoke to the kitchen guys, "no problem", 6am? No problem. Freshly brewed while I watched chopping of onions and grinding of fresh coconut. Nothing was a problem! Meals, hot, fresh tasty, varied. Breakfast and dinner both excellent. Nice pool liked by the children. Pretty garden. Second time in Sri Lanka and I guess I won't make it again in this life. Hopefully my children and their children will return to stay with the Surveyor's crew.

Le logement est spacieux 😀 et reculé de la ville. Situé dans les hauteurs de Kandy cela est très apaisant. Le logement est très bien équipé, et surtout l’hôte est super !! Très agréable et ses petits déjeuners sont très très bons ! Nous avons passé 4 jours en bonne compagnie !

The entire villa is spacious, clean, and beautifully kept. It felt so homely and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The surroundings are calm and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Situé à Urulewatta, l’hébergement Tea Heritage offre une vue sur la montagne. Il comprend une piscine extérieure et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Booked Tea Heritage for our anniversary and honestly… my wife was stoked! As soon as we walked in, we knew we’d hit the jackpot. The suite was massive , proper roomy , with floor-to-ceiling glass that gave us unreal views of the mountains. Felt like waking up in a dream. The whole place has this fresh, modern vibe, but it’s tucked in the middle of nature, so you’re completely surrounded by lush green beauty. Every night, we even spotted fireflies dancing outside ,haven’t seen those since we were kids! Gave us full-on goosebumps. Then came the cherry on top – a candlelit dinner under the stars just for us. No other guests, just the two of us and the sky above. Pure romance. Felt like we were on the set of a movie. And the food? Next level. Most of it came straight from their own garden – how good’s that? Dinu, the chef and co-host, whipped up some mouthwatering homemade Sri Lankan dishes that we’re still dreaming about. Everything tasted like it was made with love – and a bit of firewood magic. Don’t even get me started on the pool – absolutely huge, with views to die for. The best bit? They only host one couple at a time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Talk about VIP treatment! If you’re chasing something quiet, romantic, and a bit fancy without being stuffy, this is it. Tea Heritage isn’t just a stay – it’s a memory-maker. 10/10 from us.

My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. We recommend Rainbow Villa as the best place to get accommodation in Mahayanganaya with confidence.
