Amazing and very friendly host, extremely clean place and the best curry I have had in Sri Lanka! In addition, the host has a huge knowledge about birds so when we were visiting Yala national park we were very impressed by his explanation island knowledge! Highly recommended!

The property consists of 2 villas tucked away in the Yala bush. Each villa comes equipped with every amenity you could ever need including private plunge pools and a rooftop jacuzzi. One of the highlights of the property is the architecture of the villa itself. They have been constructed alongside the nature surrounding them, with trees and wines running in and around the house, connecting the living spaces to the outside world. The service offered by the staff is also wonderful. They are friendly and attentive, and you essentially have them all to yourself at all times since the property is so exclusive. My special thanks go to the O2 Villas Group General Manager - Gimhan De Silva and Sudarshi Thakshila Front Office Manager O2 Villas Yala. Both of them went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and homely. Both of them were personally in touch with us during our entire stay and made sure we had an amazing time and made us feel at home....!!!! All in all, if you are looking for a private getaway in the middle of one of Sri Lanka’s most sort after destinations, O2 Villas Yala is for you. Highly recommend this amazing property to anyone who likes to enjoy luxury in the wild..!!!

One of the best places that I have ever stayed in. Villa was absolutely huge. Gorgeous outdoor shower. Lovely veranda for meals complete with a sofa and hammocks. Food superb. Pool area immaculate in beautiful gardens with abundant wildlife. Hosts could not have been more attentive or kind.

One of the best properties we stayed at during our trip to Sri Lanka. The value for money is amazing, and the host family were incredible. Anu and his family took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable. Their kid was very cute and so friendly with our group that it made our stay even better. The rooms were nice and had A/C and hot water (not always a given in Sri Lanka), it wasn’t amazing but it was comfortable and exactly what we needed and was great value. Anu organised a safari for us where we luckily saw a leopard and multiple bears, which are not always common! I would highly recommend this place for those wanting to come to a Yala Safari- the hospitality was the best we experienced in the country, and the rooms were comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

Beyond expectations! Lovely place close to the nature. The host was really kind, always helpful, even though we already booked a safari through our driver. The room is spacious and clean with air conditioner, and we also had hot water. After arriving, we sit out to our terrace and just watched the wild life (birds, squirrels, snakes ...) Thanks for everything, we loved it!

It was a really amazing stay. The host was so kind and helpful. The room was perfect. It was clean, nice and big bathroom, good beds, close to the pool. The dinner was very good too. We did a safari in Yala with his cousin. And also the beach dinner was like really good. We absolutely enjoyed it. We recommend it!

The villa was really clean! The staff is amazing!! If you need anything, they are there to help (they live at a house next to the villa). The food, they cooked for us was very tasty and a lot (too much to finish it all)! For breakfast you can either take a Western or a Sri lankan breakfast. If you want to go on a safari, they will organize a trip for you! The pool and the outside area is lovely! There are lots of fruit trees around (mango, banana, coconut) and you will get a taste of the fruits if you like. One of our group had a problem with his phone, so Ranjeed took him to the next phone store and tried solve the problem. Thank you so much! We can definitely recommend staying here!

The staff super helpful. He showed us owls sleeping in the garden! And gave us advice where to go in the area. The house and garden are like a dream. Breakfast amazing. Sleeping here has been one of the experiences we are never going to forget. For good.

At the accommodation we were welcomed by an employee named Kumare. He was amazing, explained about the area, the safari, took care of our food and packed food for the safari, he solved every problem immediately, a top-notch host, excellent English and welcoming.
