Absolutely loved my stay at Mau Lakaz. The place was very neat and clean. We were offered complimentary tea bags which was great given that I am a tea lover. The view from the swimming pool was cherry on the cake. The host was very responsive. No noisy neighbours, which is a plus. Loved the master bedroom's bathroom and walking closet. Very well equipped - Iron, Hair dryer, utensils, steamer, vertical steamer iron, lots of towels (even pool towels), hangers, dish washer, hair and body shower gel (2 in 1), bbq, oven and big fridge. Housekeepers, Guylaine and Sheila, were very welcoming and did a great job of keeping the villa pristine. Well equipped kitchen, regularly maintained pool and gardens.

Location is fantastic, secluded yet close to everything. It's a very well appointed semi detached thached house directly on the beach exactly as the photos. General condition of the excellent. A few hinges and vents were corroded due to the sea air and didn't work but this did not stop us enjoying the place. Stephanie the house keeper can also cook,if you ask her or bring foods for you. She made a lovely breakfast a few days we stayed.

The place is just in a perfect location. We went there in February when it’s very hot in Mauritius. at this part of the island you get more winds and it was so good to have some fresh air coming in. The property is very clean. kitchen fully equipped with whatever is needed for self catering place. housekeeper Roma is great and was doing perfect job to keep everything clean every day. We had a lovely time from the begging (when manager Kathy met us and was very accommodating) until the day we have left. and we are already planning the trip for next year and this is the place we want to go back to.
