Deolinda is a wonderful and welcoming host who made sure we felt at home from the moment we arrived. She greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the house, and even had the wood stove running in advance—a thoughtful gesture, especially since temperatures were close to zero at night despite it being mid-March. The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with charming details like fresh flowers on the towels. We also appreciated the bowl of sweets and fruits she had prepared, which added a lovely touch to our stay. The rooms were cozy, tastefully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated Deolinda's hospitality and attention to detail. We would happily return!

Amazing location - we knew Fragas de São Simão already and it was a dream to be able to wake up in nature! The cottage is small but very well designed - with storage in every corner! Very well equipped - but there is also a bar/ kiosk just a few steps away where you can buy some snacks.

We loved everything about this place. Compact but perfectly formed spotless and comfy villas around a lovely pool. Quiet area but good restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Facilities in property were excellent- everything if needed to cater for yourself with your own provisions- super cute and comfortable. Staff most welcoming and delivered our tapas and wine to us (unfortunately the only restaurant was not open). Breakfast fantastic. Unfortunately time only allowed us the one night stay but perfect place to stay for several nights for some walks.
