We had the pleasure of staying at Casa la Balauri during our return journey from a holiday in Greece. The property is exceptionally well-maintained—spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated the convenience of the self check-in process and the clear, detailed instructions provided by the host, which were especially helpful given our late-night arrival. There is definitely a lot to see in this part of Romania, and if we ever plan to come for a longer stay, we would absolutely choose this accommodation again. It was a bit challenging to find, as Google Maps directed us the wrong way down one-way streets and another app didn’t recognize the address at all. However, this was clearly beyond the host’s control. Thank you very much!

Host was very friendly, welcomed us with wine and cakes. She also offered coffee in the morning. The place is clean, decorated with hand made items made by host and extremely quiet at night. They have a drinking water fountain too. There's a local restaurant about half an hour away by walking that I also recommend.

I liked the location a lot, the rooms were very nice, comfy beds, very nice kitchen with everything you need. The terrace outside was nice as well. Kids had a trampoline and a slide to play on, nice folding chairs in the backyard. Nice and understanding hosts, they waited for us and we arrived quite late.
