We stayed in an igloo, which was the coolest accommodation ever. Stared up at the stars through the glass roof all night. The facilities were amazing, including the main house - which we utilised for kitchen and bathroom. Transfers and a beautiful breakfast kit included. Could not have hoped for more!!

Kiruna Folkets Hus is 22 km from the holiday home. Kiruna Airport is 17 km away. We stayed at the mini lodge for a couple of nights in late September. The place is quite cozy and convenient. The best feature of it - by far - is the view. Right in front of the lake, with only a thin line of trees. We got some pretty good views of the aurora from inside the cabin. The attached picture was taken from inside (using a tripod of course). You can literally catch the aurora while seating on the couch or on the armchair! Relatively secluded as well, as it is located at the end of the road.

There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Amazing location with nice views. Perfect location to see the northern lights; we were able to see it right from the balcony. The apartment is well equipped and there's a supermarket nearby within walking distance. The water was cold due to heater issues when we arrived on a Saturday, and the hosts were very responsive and quickly get the issue partially resolved on the day itself, and fully resolved by the next day.
