The hosts have also been generous on borrowing their bikes to go around the island a couple times. The place is perfect for a simple countryside getaway in two. It’s located within walking distance various sites, restaurants, supermarket, boat station etc. It is very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The shower facility nearby is modern, Clean and easy to access. The island itself is a typical island in the Swedish archipelago, with various pine trees, berry bushes, moss, lichens, deers, lizards, marine birds etc. and the Islanders being good stewards for this.

And from Varmdö Maknad are the bus connections really good to Slussen to explore Stockholm. It was not the last Time in Sweden 😀! Don‘t forget to use the parking Disk and if necessary please registrate at the eparking System. Mostly without costs if you‘re registrate you 😉. Otherwise you will get a parking ticket. We truly enjoyed our two nights at the two bedroom villa. From the moment we got picked up and showed around the property with multiple spots to relax to our departure - we felt extremely well taken care of in a clean and wonderful environment!
