Le Mas de l'Esperance is a luxury guest house situated in Saint-Gilles, just 10 km from Nîmes. This is a beautiful family run property. When you enter you’re greeted by the family dogs (who are very handsome and sweet) and a beautiful courtyard. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. If you have a chance to stay here, eat breakfast and dinner at the property as well - dinner is a great price and truly delicious. Worth the price for the experience and comfort - we highly recommend staying here!

The room was exceptionally clean with all of the usual home comforts as well as some bonus items including organic shower gels. The private terrace and access to the pool was just what we needed on our 'down' day and the bed was extremely comfortable which was perfect after spending our days touring the area. Breakfast each morning was provided at a time that was suitable to us each morning and included fresh pastries, yoghurts, baguettes and fresh fruit as well as a selection of hot and cold drinks including freshly squeezed orange juice. We had an excursion planned for one day and Nicole actually made us a takeaway breakfast so that we were able to catch our train! Both Nicole and Jean-Luc gave us advice and guidance on what was on whilst we were there as well as good places to go to eat. This is more than we could have ever asked for but appreciated so much. We had the most fantastic stay and we would absolutely stay here again if we visit Nimes again.
