Sa gentillesse et attentions, et nos discussions très sympas au Petit déjeuner 😀 La chambre est très spacieuse et confortable, très agréable. Sb idem. L'accès pour le Check-in très bien organisé. A savoir qu'il y a une petite grimpette pour y accéder, mais cela ne m'a pas posé problème, le nom de Belvédère porte bien son nom : on a une vue depuis cette colline sur tout Cherbourg et son port.

Pleasant owners, good breakfast and comfortable room. Allowed us to drop luggage off early in the day prior to check-in, so we could hike and leave the car empty of valuables

The whole stay was exceptional. The hosts are so welcoming and they have such a beautiful, clean and wonderfully tasteful Manor House. The breakfast was so beautifully presented and we had a different sweet or pastry each morning to try and do relaxing in the breakfast room with lovely classical music in the background to start the day! Absolutely beautiful stay. Would definitely recommend to couples for a stay away. Really good value for money for the experience. Less suitable for children.

The house is a 19th century building close to the centre and to the ferry departure, ideal at the start or end of your holiday. Christelle speaks good English and her warm enthusiastic personality gave us a welcome that was very sincere. She is artistic and funny with a wry sense of humour. The breakfast was excellent, good bread and a good choice of fruits and jams, but was also artistically arranged on the table! Her paintings are hung around the house. My wife loved the whole experience. I loved the practicalities of the place: free parking in the street, good facilities and tasty breakfast. Cherbourg has a good choice of restaurants and the Thursday market was great.

We arrived late after having to book same day and we were greeted by a huge smile and friendly dog. The Manor is a beautiful old house and the family clearly take pride in having people to stay. The room and furniture are classic and characterful with the perfect arrangement for a family stay. Our two girls had an adjoining room to ours and princess beds. The bathroom alone was bigger than most hotel rooms we end up squishing into as we stopover when driving through France. The beds were comfy, the shower big, the water warm and the whole experience memorable. We all slept well, hidden away behind the huge sleep-friendly shutters. You can self-serve teas and coffees and the owner even brought us a plate of madelines and chocolates to have with our evening tea and hot chocolates. The following morning we were presented with a variety of warm pastries and fresh coffee, along with homemade rhubarb jam. We didn't get to see the grounds in their best light as it was a winters's day but I imagine it's a good place to explore and stay for a few days in the summer too.
