Kareema and Tawfik made me feel so comfortable and at home as soon as I arrived. The option to spend time alone in the private guest house was there but I was invited to spend as much of my stay with their wonderful children and their grandmother as I wished! We stayed in a private double room, parked our rental car in front of the hotel. It was safe. We felt at home. There is water shortage in Tataouine in some hours. The host puts a big vacuum bottle in front of the hotel door and gives free drinkable water to people. He is a great guy.

The owner is super friendly, and speaks great English and French, he also let me rest in another room while my room was being cleaned which was really nice. There’s a simple breakfast included and there is a free (and cold!!) drinking water machine. Very cheap for one night for a private room with bathroom.
