Our nearby town Esperanza was small, friendly and lots of community things going on. We could not have asked for more.

The swimming pool is great, heated and with sea water you can't ask for more. You are surrounded by a beautiful garden and the birdsongs totally peaceful. Jo, the owner is fantastic and always helpful. She keeps the kitchen with coffee, water and fruit for us to have all the time. Absolutely great.

At the bed and breakfast, units come with bed linen and towels. The shared dorm was absolutely awesome. Common facilities were exactly as gorgeous as in the images. I cannot remember the last place that I stayed at that was as picturesque, with such a strong personality as well. I particularly liked the lighting in all common spaces, during evening they were very excellent to read at!

Great hosts! Large clean comfortable. Sharing bathroom with other guests was never a problem. Nice to have communal kitchen. Short walk to an authentic Canarian bar and small limited grocer both with very friendly service. A quick taxi from the airport and San Miguel marina.

The nearest airport is Tenerife Sur, 23 km from the bed and breakfast, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The owner, David, really was a superb host! Very kind and helpful with everything. He even threw together a nice spread of cheese and ham for us when we arrived a bit exhausted in the evening on New Years day saving us from having to drive all the way to one of the bigger cities to find an open supermarket/restaurant. Breakfast was very good and upon request they also offer excellent home made dinners in the evening in a nice familiar atmosphere. The place itself is as advertised, offering beautiful views from the terraces where we enjoyed our breakfast and the room itself as well as the shared bathrooms were very clean, comfortable and functional. The area itself is very quiet and with a rental car we found the location to offer a good balance between being able to reach the beach for relaxation and Teide national park for hiking (and there are also some nice local hiking options).
