It was like having your own apartment! We arrived for the evening and didn’t need to go anywhere. Lyn cooked us a delicious meal which we enjoyed in our spacious room. When then watched a film on the very large TV and snuggled down for the night in the very comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely eggs, cheese, ham, bread, croissants etc. Everything was spotlessly clean and well thought through. A perfect stopover on our way from Calais to the south of France.

Perfect place for our stopover as we head home to the UK from the Pyrenées. 5 minutes off the E9 but you'd never know. Luxurious! Five⭐️! Lovely welcome from Jocylene and Jacque. Beautiful breakfast too! The little village also has a Carrefour so we were able to shop for tonight's meal which is important for us as we like to picnic French style with a bottle of good Bubbly! We were made exceptionally welcome by Michelle and Serge and the stay was fantastic for us. Not far from the motorway, with an amazing view, the house is stunning. Everything is thought of for a perfect stay. Comfortable bed, good lighting, little thoughtful gestures in the room. Modern and sleek bathroom, big shower and everything to hand. The icing on the cake was eating a wonderful, copious breakfast with the doors open and the sun shining in from the terrace overlooking the valley. We had a lovely stay and would thoroughly recommend. As for the 'difficult' parking mentioned in earlier reviews, if you drive along past the house there's a parking bay on your left, avoiding any difficulty.

Marie & Frederick were the most warm and accommodating hosts. The home and grounds are in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting. Bellac is a charming town just 10 minutes away with all amenities. We loved our stay and will return soon.

My kids loved her dog Tobby and the table tennis table. It was one of their favourite stays in France.
