Some areas of the property were being renovated (like the pool) but it did not bother us as it was not warm enough to use it anyways.

From our lovely host Wendy to the beautifully restored property and scrumptious breakfast! We loved this place! So sad it was only an overnight stay and couldn’t enjoy the property and all it had to offer. Thank you Wendy for being so accomodating, for the tour of the property and attention to detail. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and luxurious. We’ll be back in warmer months so we can enjoy the beautiful pool and sample your local wines too. Cheers from Australia.

At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Excellent boutique hotel, perfect for couples. Only 9 rooms, in a character filled original building. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. We will be back.

The location was close to gorgeous vineyards, outdoor shopping, and a city in France voted “the most beautiful in the world.”. The hosts were wonderful and their hospitality is something that you will not experience at other hotels. They had fantastic recommendations for dining and activities. The rooms have balconies with incredible views, reliable wifi and come with breakfast every morning. If we return to the area we will definitely stay at La Chaumiere again.

We had a warm welcome from Michel and Desiree, who were really helpful with recommendations in the local area. The room was nicely decorated, comfortable and really well equipped. The terrace is wonderful, with great views across the valley. Breakfast was fantastic, and so plentiful we often had leftovers for lunch! Highly recommend!

When my friend wasn’t feeling well she brought herbal tea designed for stomach upsets to the room along with fresh strawberries.
