The room and hotel are nicely updated and very comfortable. My host was friendly and welcoming upon arrival, even with a last-minute booking. I was not able to dine in the Thai restaurant at street level, though it looked and smelled delicious. I will surely be back to stay again.

We have nothing but great things to say about our stay. The hospitality, amenities, garden, the hosts and the breakfast were all exceptional! They went above and beyond for our girls and made our stay so special. We highly recommend a stay!

Situated in a lovely quiet location just off the sleepy hamlet's square, with free parking - the location was excellent for me.
I enjoyed breakfast in the hotel's own restaurant and it was great value for money.
I arrived after 9:00pm and it was very quiet, but the hotel facilitated my late arrival with my key left in a key-safe outside the front door along with clear instructions.
All in all - it was perfect, and great value for money for my overnight stay, with a fantastic bathroom and shower, ensuring I was fresh as a daisy for my business meeting a short drive away!
I have stayed in many hotels in this area normally on the E42 when travelling back from the Alps.Staying here was such a pleasure. A small family run hotel in a quiet village next to the church. Lovely people, very clean rooms, great breakfast, bar and restaurant . If the restaurant is not fully open then the staff provide a meal for the guests which is excellent home made quality. The hotel is very easy to find and you are quickly back onto the E42 in the morning. I very much look forward to staying here again.
The hotel is located is a nice little village with easy parking. The room is big and cosy, very clean despite a couple spiderwebs but nothing easily reachable. The host were lovely and ready to help. The breakfast table was all set for me when I got down to eat in the morning and hot drink was made on request. The hot chocolate was absolutely delicious, like everything else that was served. I wish I'd come on a day when the restaurant is working because the menu looked great!
This family hotel is fairly simple with no frills but it made a convenient stop when driving by and the village itself is peaceful (despite the car roar from the motorway being vaguely audible at night) and quite attractive - sad that the castle is falling down. The breakfast cost relatively little extra and was pleasant but it seemed odd that breakfast of two people was the same as breakfast for one in terms of quantities
The hotel warned us in advance that their restaurant only opens Friday. Sat and Sunday ( so would be closed when we stayed) but as agreed, they very kindly put on a 'plat de jour' for us each night which was very good. Dog friendly. Very good size room and excellent en-suite. Nice breakfast. Though in small rural village location easy road access Namur or Charleroi. Would stay again.
L'Escapade is a bit off the main road but well worth the few minutes extra drive. The hotel is situated in a beautiful square and is quiet and peaceful. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! Breakfast was served from 7am which was great as I wanted to be on the road by 8am.
The hotel location was a couple of miles from the main road but easy to find. The bed in the room was absolutely massive. The room was superbly decorated and warm. The bathroom fully modernised. The evening meal and the breakfast the following morning were excellent.
