Complained about no WiFi, téléphone not functioning and no hot water. They proposed another room but it was late at night (we came back from spa) so we we t to sleep. They offered a small discount in return. Disappointing on the reaction from the hotel.

We stayed one night at this lovely B&B before we flew home...

We stayed one night at this lovely B&B before we flew home from Brussels. It is convenient to the airport and the owner provided a shuttle for us. Actually, we had rented a car which we turned in the night before our flight (the night of our stay) and she also graciously provided the shuttle to pick us after the car rental drop off. There are a few restaurants nearby, but most are closed on Monday (the night of our stay), so she again took us to a restaurant for our dinner....and made the reservation for us. The breakfast was a wonderful start to our day. The room was very modern and comfortable. Thank you, so much, for your hospitality.

The room seems fine, not big or small, only that no slippers were provided (Seems really weird for not having slippers in a hotel). Worst experience ever. Had some guests on my floor (probably downstairs too) completely wasted and drunk super early in the morning. They were talking and laughing loudly in the hallway, having conversation in their rooms with the doors open, taking elevator up and down for like 100 times, even pressing the emergency calling button in the elevator (I heard a very disturbing alarming sound in my room. This whole disturbance lasted from 5:30 AM to 8:40 AM. I made video tape and recorded the sound as an evidence to complain at the reception. When we (me and my husband) checked out, I told the receptionist, "Before we leave, please watch this". The girl watched 10 seconds and said to me that she knew there were some drunk guests making noises, from the cleaning ladies. Knowing this, I was even angrier. They were aware of this but did nothing (Why not just ask them to CHECK OUT AND LEAVE??) . I demanded to get refund for such poor stay. But later on the manager came to me saying he spoke with the director that the only compensation was to offer us two free entries for next visit, which turned out to be only valid in weekdays, not weekend nor holidays. Although both the receptionist and manager apologized to us, the manager said "it's not the fault of the hotel" (next time check on your "neighbors"before choosing a hotel to stay lol). In the end we paid everything and took the free entry tickets. But this has ruined my weekend. I woke up 5:30 AM on a Sunday morning (even earlier than when I need to work) and suffered 3 hours in anger instead of having a nice and peaceful stay at this hotel for which I paid for. In all, worst stay ever.
