I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful both checking in and checking out the next morning. Staff very friendly. Always smiling. Other restaurants, shopping mall within walking distance of the hotel

It’s more of a resort than a motel.. it’s classy, clean and designed well. Well thought of in decor. BBQ area is lite up with white lights. They have ice outdoors. Blankets if you’d like a fire. The water here is warm. There a great swimming dock with a ladder. Dog friendly. Would be a great central sport to discover Nova Scotia. More to do at the lighthouse than staying at a “motel”

Just one word: FAN-TAS-TIC!. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast is an event with all guests at one table in the dining room, we had some entertaining conversations.
Just 35 metres from the waterfront of Lunenburg Harbour in Nova Scotia, this turn-of-the-century accommodation offers all rooms with a kitchenette.

The views from both floors have a wonderful view of the Lunenburg harbour, and it's so convenient to walk the town from the central location. It was like having my own apartment and I hope to stay here a third time if I ever return to the area.

We came to Bridgewater from Pennsylvania, USA to go to Oak Island. Long drive ... 2300 miles RT driving. We could have used another night or two. Oak Island was a wonderful tour. Friendly folks, Charles is a wonderful tour guide but you won’t get any spoilers. And don’t forget to buy a t-shirt or make a donation to charity by buying one of Rick’s handmade necklaces. Bridgewater was a great location to stay. Neighboring Lunenburg (great shops and beautiful views of bay, photographers) and Mahone Bay (Mug and Anchor-good food) were close and Oak Island was very close. Great tour at Oak Island and afterwards tasty eating at a small restaurant just down the road (turn right coming off the Oak Island causeway, down the road with green awnings on the right on the water). We really enjoyed our stay, but wish we had allowed more time to explore!

Loved the room decor and cleanliness but would have liked the room to be a little larger, Would also liked to have had the air conditioner updated and a fan in the bathroom, other than that we would go back in a heartbeat. The location was great , close to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg with spectacular scenery, and very friendly staff

This motel is a rare gem.
This motel is a rare gem. Everything about it is exceptional. Beautifully decorated in a stunning location. Soft fluffy towels and bed linen. A joy to stay there. Would love to return one day. Congratulations to the owners.
This location thought of EVERYTHING, It was beyond beautiful! However, the only down fall is when you want to go over for a nice dinner in Bridgewater then you can't have a drink to get back to the motel. The owner was amazing and drove us into town but finding a way back we had to ask the locals. The town of Bridgewater doesn't have any reliable cabs. During peak season a shuttle for this property wouldn't be a bad idea. This property does have everything you need to have dinner there! The location is absolutely beauitful!!
Easily one of the most picturesque settings there is, on the LaHave River in Dayspring, on the edge of Bridgewater. Next to the road, but traffic is minimal after dark. The yellow cabin we stayed in (pictured on the website) is whimsically decorated with all things nautical in bright, cheery colours and boasts a deck perched right over the water. Fresh cinnamon buns await guests; a sweet touch. The bed is comfy.
It is a reasonably acceptable hotel for a small town; the rooms are large and comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the staff is 24 hours at the front desk; the exercise room is small, and there is no elevator, but if you are only travelling for a short stay or a day, the price is reasonable. It is located close to the city exits and much cheaper than other places in the area or surrounding towns.
A water pipe broke during the night around the lobby. It seemed very little effort to clean up the mess or prevent folks from walking through wet soggy rugs and of course the breakfast area was soaked. No effort was made to assist guests to avoid the area or provide alternatives nearby. Emergencies happen but the lack of response by the hotel was unacceptable.
This property is a hidden gem in Bridgewater. I only had the pleasure of staying one night but if your travelling in the area it’s a must stay. I did not get to take full advantage of what it offered because of rain but I would definitely go back. The rooms and property is beautifully decorated.
We got a room for the night. Bed was okay and pillows were good. I loved the tile in shower but was hard to see in the shower because it was so dark. Shower was good. Tub emptied very slowly though. The lady at the front desk was very nice. No complaints about that part of the hotel at all.
There was a complimentary breakfast in a nice seating area with windows, it was comfy and a nice way to start the day. The hotel setting and location were very inviting with nice landscaping and a general sense of order and cleanliness.
I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful both checking in and checking out the next morning. Staff very friendly. Always smiling. Other restaurants, shopping mall within walking distance of the hotel
The hotel was good, clean and had a large room with everything we needed.
My wife is walking with sticks so they swapped us to a ground floor room.
Breakfast was an all you can eat breakfast bar, lovely room.
This is a standard cookie cutter Travelodge, like most across Canada. While it’s an aging facility, it is well maintained and exceptionally clean, staffed with warm Maritimers.
The hotel was easy to find, central to grocery store, drug store & restaurants. Pet friendly hotel :) Staff was very friendly & breakfast was included.
