As the reviews indicated, excellent location. Good bodega across the street, 5 minutes from public beach, Western Union, car rental , seafood vender 3 minutes. The big supermercado and 2 smaller also 5 minutes away walking. The kitchen was good. We bought 2 kg thumb sized Samana shrimp, 1600 pesos. Ate shrimp and fresh salad for all 5 nights. Excellent!!! Very nice well kept hotel with beautiful trees/foilage.

Bayahibe small and cozy, easy to drive, we were there to look for possible place to live. However the europeans have locked up the town and are building many apartment complex's for tourism. Too expensive to rent or buy in Bayahibe. Nice place to visit at Villa Baya for 4 days and that is it. 30 tour bus's bring in 2000 people daily from all over to go on catamaran tours, particularly to Isla Saona I suspect, as well as the scuba business. When the apartment complexs are finished in the next 2 to 3 years, Bayahibe is going to be totally overcrowded I suspect. I asked about snorkel tour for a couple hours. $150 usd!!!!! OUCH!! I am a snorkeler as well as a dedicated swimmer.byronCanada - 10Scored 10
This is a very safe feeling small village.
This is a very safe feeling small village. We never felt unsafe as we walked around during days or nights. The restaurants along the waterfront served great food at very reasonable prices. Most of the waitstaff do not speak English which made for a bit of fun. I highly recommend taking a full day trip to Saona Island if you are traveling to Bayahibe.

Bayahíbe is an excellent place.
Bayahíbe is an excellent place. Nice view and it is closer from the SDQ airport than Punta Cana. The beach was pretty safe and there is a lot of security staff all around the place. No problem with that. The beach is not too salty, and the sand is clean and white. I really liked Bayahíbe.IVAN LORADominican Republic

The apartment was super clean and equipped with everything i needed, the bedroom was so comfortable with a big closet, about the bathroom everything was working out and the shower never lost pressure or temperature. So close to the beach (5 minutes walking) and so close to Bayahibe center, but at the right distance to enjoy silence and relax. Graziano (the host) helped me so much and gave me any information or suggestion i needed. Really a perfect experience. I would suggest this to anyone.DanieleItaly

The staff are amazing, the place is really cool and frequented by international travelers from all over the world. The services are the top: the swimming pool, air conditioning, bathroom with hot water, smart TV, a beautiful garden and a restaurant with quality food at fair prices! From 6PM until 10PM you can also enjoy a nice selection of music and drink a cocktail by the pool. A really nice place!MMichailUnited States

We have visited all restaurants and were not disappointed at all! The beach is super clean, beach beds are always available and the sea is great. Even if you arrived earlier before the check in or leave late after check out you still get your bracelet and can use any facilities and restaurants, just without your room.

The best staff and owners! They are very friendly and helpful people. You can speak there English,French, Italian and Spanish. I recommend this accommodation!

Everything we needed. There's a common area as well which you could use to cook or in our case to work. I made yoga in the mornings on the roof top. You've get breakfast in the morning included and we had a problem with our AC, so Danny and his staff helped us out directly.
