Excellent location with beautiful sunset every morning
Set in front of the Atlantic Ocean, Apartamento Casitas del Mar is located between Arrieta and Punta Mujeres in Lanzarote. The bright apartment features a private terrace overlooking the ocean.

Callao 8 is located on the top floor therefore has the most outstanding views and fabulous terrace. Check in was brilliant due to the welcome from Matia and her husband, always there if needed. Worth their weight in gold and hopefully appreciated by the owners.

Great flat in a great location. Very clean, neat and well-equipped. Loved the welcome wine too - nice gesture!
Two things really annoyed us. The property was described as having one twin room and one double. It didn’t! Just two rooms with single beds.
Also one of the bedroom doors was so badly hung it couldn’t be closed without a huge effort and and a great deal of noise.
I also think if you provide a coffee maker then you should also provide the pods to go in it.

Supermarkets have sprung up around arricife , perfect for self catering .
Trip to la grandiosa well worth doing and drive to ferry 10 minutes from villa

Really enjoyed our short stay.
Really enjoyed our short stay. A lovely fishing type village, with all the amenities we needed, not for those looking for an all inc. holiday.
And you can surf, when the tides are right, from the jetty to the beach!
Peaceful and quiet, lots of locals and Spanish being spoken in the main- no problems with language at the restaurants- I preferred La Casa de La Playa on the beach to eat at.
I did not enjoy and would not recommend Restaurante los Pescaditos- they were arrogant and conceited.
Some campers parked by the beach made it feel more relaxed.
I'd go again, as I liked the peace and quiet,
Though it may be busier in summer.

Arrieta is an excellent village in the north of the Island.
Arrieta is an excellent village in the north of the Island. It has numerous excellent restaurants, it is generally very clean - although we did notice an increase in the amount of dog poo on the pavements. There are also 1 or 2 interesting clothes and holiday memorabilia shops. The beach is very clean and has bars and restaurants more or less on the beach.

A small pretty seaside village with everything for a comfortable stay - plenty of bars and restaurants serving local food and specialising in fish and the traditional 'Canary' wrinkled potatoes and trio of flavoured sauces. Good base to explore the area if you have a car - the Jameos museum (underground cavern and lake with auditorium) is recommended and the volcano visit also fascinating. Walks along the sea front and plenty of 'sea pools' with steps going in to the water to bathe. The Mojitos in the VW Camper bar are best avoided - way too sugary!
Super clean, comfortable, light & well designed apartment a few minutes walk from the beach & good local restaurants. Great internet/WiFi connection & the separate dressing room with loads of fitted wardrobe space was a real bonus. Perfect for a couple. Easy parking on the street outside the apartment or on ground a few steps away (note - this is not the main road into/out of the village but a smaller one-way street parallel to it). Very friendly & helpful hosts.
Fully equipped + coffee (for a coffee maker or instant), tea, olive oil, salt, sugar + beer and coke cans and water in the fridge (smth you never get in any apartment in the Canaries)
Great location with amazing views from the balcony. A little beach in front of the house, 2 great fish restaurants nearby.
Arrieta is a very special place, quiet and sophisticated/authentic in a way. Don't expect touristy Playa Blanca vibes.
The location was just stunning. From the front terrace you can watch the ocean all around: the tide pool great for swimming, the beautiful Blue House, the waves crashing on the pier. The house is very cool; funky, artistic and comfortable. The bedroom we slept in was super cosy and quiet, with a nice hot shower on suite. The host we met was really friendly. Nice restaurants nearby.
Location was exceptional you could not ask for a better view. Apartment was spotless, a little dated, but has everything you could want for a relaxing stay. Arrieta itself is so laid back, and the people are so friendly, the restaurants are excellent if you love fresh seafood. Rebooked for next year even before we left, thanks for a much needed break.
The apartment is beautiful and fully equipped, plus the location is perfect to visit the north of the island. You can either cook inside, there is a very nice supermarket 2 mins walking, either go to one of the bars/restaurants 5/10 mins walking on the seafront. Arrieta has a really nice beach usually not that crowded.
We had a fantastic holiday at this villa. The host Adrian was very communicative and helpful and the villa is very comfortable. It's in a great location - near a restaurant, shops and a short walk to the beach in Arrietta. I would recommend this villa to anyone, and we are hoping to return there ourselves.
The apartment is just a minute walk from the beach and very close to a supermarket. Located on one edge of the village, but Arrieta being small, everything is on short-walking distance.
The apartment is "correct" but nothing special. It was also adequately equipped for a short stay, but just that.
The view from the living room directly onto the sea was stunning. The location of the apartment was excellent, near the beach, restaurants, shop, bus stop, and anything else you might want. The kitchen was relatively well equipped for self-catering. Property manager was responsive via WhatsApp.
Location is on a main street, nice beach is 5 min stroll away, 4 or 5 nice restaurants on your doorstep. Plenty of hot water and very good pressure. It was no problem to find parking near by at any time of the day, but that might be different if you visit in high season.
It is in a good location for discovering Lanzarote and the town in itself is nice and peaceful. It has safe and plentiful parking right in front of the apartment.
