Location is definitely one of the best assets of Can Pastilla, considering that it’s situated a 5-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca Airport and a 10-minute drive from Palma’s Old Town. Although today sun lovers populate its golden beaches and hotels, Can Pastilla was only a small fishing village 60 years ago, no more than a hamlet growing around the small church of San Antonio de la Playa. It is also fair to say that Can Pastilla is relatively calmer than other resorts in the area.

The hotel facilities are quite nice, including the outdoor and indoor pool, rooms, bar etc. The area is very quiet with most of the population/tourist demographic being elderly. The only minus I would mention is the fact that there are no tapas served at the bar, which I believe to be an essential in a pool-side hotel bar in a Spanish island and the fact there is no drinks/food service after hours. It was peaceful pleasant calm and the people were so friendly kind and happy . It was lovely to be able to watch the sun goinf down eating dinner . Found an amazing place looking out onto the sea and marina - was calm and very good for lone travellers never once felt afraid or alone . Perfect for couples or anyone who wants a calm break away from fast pace life - calming and tranquil to a fault ! This Hotel is just perfect, the food is lovely, lots of choice for breakfast and evening meal, good standard. Every member of staff is polite and cant do enough for you. In my opinion this hotel could easily be a four or five star establishment. Can Pastilla is a lovely resort, quiet and with a chilled vibe, and best of all its 10 mins from the airport! Popular places are a bit far from each-other however if you like to ride bicycles then you can rent an ordinary or electric bike. Be careful about rental companies, there are expensive and also cheap places that you can rent exactly the same bicycle with double/triple prices. Public transport is also easily possible. I also recommend to attend tours to the caves and to the mountains. If you are interested in wind surfing this beaches are exactly for you. P.S. Don’t forget to visit Europe’s biggest coral aquarium

It was great for a short city break in that it was just along from Palma and we could very easily get a bus in to the city. The area itself was great for walks along the beach and to sit in little cafes/restaurants and have coffee/lunch and soak up the sun and watch the sea and kite surfers etc. Yes it was close to the airport, but we never really heard the planes - I would definitely stay in the area again.5

The hotel is super well located, close to Palma, the airport and the rent-a-car companies. It is also 30m away from the beach and close to many restaurants. The staff was super helpful and nice (and spoke Spanish, a wonder in Mallorca). The breakfast lounge/restaurant quite nice as well as the breakfast which was Ok. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable in their duties. Breakfast and dinner are always very varied. This time I spent my 60th birthday in Mallorca and was very happy when I returned to the hotel in my room waiting for the manager’s congratulatory message with the sparkling wine. It was a really memorable gesture, thank you very much

The food for breakfast and dinner was great. Plenty of choice with individually prepared dishes. All of the staff from reception, restaurant, bar and accommodation were super friendly and a pleasure to deal with. One can reach it by bus from airport, it was nice, clean and comfortable. I used the pool in the morning only to realise that the beach was actually very close and would have been a better option!
