Close to La Garena, which is a sort of new quarter in Alcala, the Campanile is reasonably well located. It does take some time to walk to the center of Alcala(around 20-30 minutes) but most of this route can be taken through a park area.
The bathroom has a bathtub, which is not always a given but always a great comfort.
Beds were not too soft or too hard, and the blankets were light which was appropriate for the weather.
There was a good choice of foods for breakfast, with local foods as well as the standard pastry/scrambled eggs/bacon spread.
