Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, exceptionally clean and a good location for the airport. In the centre of an industrial/business district so very quiet at night but can be busy during the day, we had a room overlooking the central courtyard though so wasn’t disturbed by noise in any way.

A very big shout out to Miriam who served breakfast every morning. She greeted us so pleasantly every morning with a big smile and is such a cheerful and helpful person. Thanks Miriam! The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.
There's also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.
A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.
From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

Such a beautiful city with major attractions reachable by foot. Rent a bike if you want to go to further places. We biked around the beach area for a little bit but should have done more - went as far as El Tintero by car (but you don't have to go there, just try one of the closer Chiringuito restaurants).

A beautiful city, a high-quality architectural connection of the old historic center with modern districts. High-quality transportation. Lots of restaurants, bars with quality food, everywhere you can see the Spanish temperament mixed with freedom. Lots of different cultures, nationalities and temperaments. The city is connected to high-speed trains, so it is not a problem to take trips to more distant areas. Be sure to visit Granada with the famous Alhambra.

Málaga is great to visit.
Málaga is great to visit. The climate is perfect, especially in spring time, then it's not too hot, about 25 degrees celsius, combined with a cool breeze from the sea you don't even sweat. The buildings in the city are painted in pastel colors and look well maintained compared to other south european cities I visited. The city is also very clean. From a distant view the city looks wonderful. The harbour area looks also great with the luxury yachts and the many shops and restaurants. There are plenty things to see and do, and most things you can visit by foot from the city center, we hardly used the buses. But if you need a bus, there are enough, and they are cheap. I recommend a tour to Gibraltar by bus (one day trip) and to watch the Málaga sunset from a catamaran.

Malaga as a city that offers wide range of activities like enjoying the beautiful sunny beaches, delicious cuisines fresh vegetables and fruits. Excellent place to shop wide range of brands and budget. Malaga is close to beautiful historical and cultural cities such as Alhambra in Granada, Sevil and Ronda.
The hotel is located few minutes from the Airport and at the cross roads to other cities in the Andalusia region.
However the access road to the hotel is in a very poor condition and very difficult during the night.

Great city to visit with plenty to do and see, but in my opinion not cheap, look for the bars for locals, watch out for “touristic bars” beer varied from €3.90 - €6.00 - G&T from €6.00 - €10.50😱
Trains are great for getting about, either down the coast to Benalmedina & Fuengirola, or inland Andelucia - Alhora, Antequera & Ronda, or trip up to Granada or Seville

We were 4 people and it was a birthday trip for the two of us. We had a great time! Food was absolutely amazing everywhere we ate, so we weren't too concerned about the online ratings of the places. We walked to El Palo and Pedregalejo beach (1.5h walk or you can take the bus). It was a great experience with food, drinks, beach... Water was a bit cold (we were there in May) but still swimmable.
We went to a flamenco show, which was AMAZING! I'd definitely recommend sitting in the front row -definitely worth the money! We also visited the Interactive Music Museum and OXO Videogame museum -- these were really interesting and fun (and different). We also went to a few bars, our favourite one was ZZ PUB -it's live music and rock. The quality of the music was great, but I recommend bringing ear plugs because it's a small area with loud music! :)
The most famous attractions had too many people in line so we didn't do those with tickets, but we were able to walk around and climb up to see things. Other than that, eat all the tapas and paella you can find, and drink all the Tinto de Verano you want! It's really difficult to not like something I think.
Warning -- there are people who walk around and ask you if you want a drink and a shot for x EUR. Be careful with those. We accepted only one of them but the bar and the drinks were really not that great. So for a very cheap price, you get a very early-twentys-age experience.
Excellent room, with shared kitchen. The patio area was an excellent bonus. There are restaurants nearby and two large supermarkets. To get to the main tourist attractions, Cathedral, Picasso museum, Alcazab, Malaga Museum, Old Town, use the buses outside the accommodation. For transport to and from the airport, bus station, and main railway station, use the excellent Metro. The metro as yet doesn't serve the main tourists attractions, about 2kms away. Recommended this accommodation.
I liked the fact it was on the beach. The pool was super clean. There's also a beautiful walk down the promenade to a nature reserve (about a 10 minute walk). If you like bird watching it's a must. From there you can cross over and get an uber to Malaga old town. Our view from the balcony was lateral sea view - the sunset in the evening was beautiful. There's plenty to do and entertainment is laid on by the hotel. Breakfast is great and the breakfast room view is fabulous.
Location was superb and although it’s central to the old town it’s very quiet. The staff were very good and efficient and gave great restaurant tips. The bed is very comfortable. the shower excellent. The hotel is very clean. I had a room with no external windows which although was a bit cheaper I would have opted to pay for windows if I had known it’s less joyful to relax during the day. I didn’t include breakfast as there are good immediate options but it looked good.
My 1st time in Soho Boutique Hotel group. An amazing hotel with great quality of interior and design in the room and whole hotel areas. An amazing location in the heart of Malaga and super friendly reception staff and good breakfast. The train station Alameda only 5 min. walking distance from the hotel which takes you within 15 min. direct to the airport. My stay here was perfect! My next trip in Spain I will stay for 100% in this Hotel
Very modern hotel with a nice pool and leisure area. Close to the beach and old town. Very convenient access to the airport just 10 min walk to the train station and 12 min on the train. Rooms are nicely decorated with the mini fridge and kettle. Pool towels available in the reception free of charge.Super tasty breakfast with lots of vegetarian options.Thank you to the reception team for putting all our 5 rooms on the same floor.
Great location for exploring Malaga and the old town. Staff let us leave our bags as we were too early for check-in. The hotel is clean and rooms have nice touches such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. The bar prices are good too. You always expect to pay more in a hotel bar, however, this hotel bar is very competitive. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We would stay again for sure!
Spectacular hotel! Very friendly/helpful staff in every function of the hotel. Rooms were exceptional—decor and detail was amazing. Breakfast was among best ever…worth the add on. Lobby and grounds are very picturesque. Easy/immediate access to beach; or outside pool area on grounds is nice alternative. Malaga Central area is 15-20 min walk.
Amazing hotel in the heart of Malaga. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Despite being right in the heart of the old town, I didn't hear any outside noise and got great night sleep in the super comfy bed. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and even put breakfast out for me early. Will definitely be staying there again!
The location was excellent right in the middle of Malaga and perfect to visit the old town for sightseeing and great selection of bars and rewstaurants and the new modern Malaga for shopping.
The staff were very pleasant and so helpful. A very good selection for breakfast.
This was our third visit to Le Petite Palace Hotel.
Such a wonderful hotel! Everything is super nicely renovated and in impeccable condition. The hotel is located in the heart of old town Malaga and has incredibly friendly staff- thanks Cristobal and colleagues! the highlight is the rooftop outdoor terrace where you can have your breakfast on a sunny day
lovely small hotel with a great location. 10min walk to the old town and the marina and 5min walk to the beach. Airport bus stops a 3min walk away, and the small rooftop pool is perfect for a quick dip to cool off. Couldn’t have asked for more for the price i paid. Would 100% stay again.
I love this place. I also love the feeling and comfortable of it. Close to everything: walking distance from the train station and 10mins drive from the airport. Only thing is that I did not expect the hotel in malaga is a bit pricey compared to other city in spain.
This lovely, very clean and comfortable apartment is in a great neighbourhood close to the old town, the harbour and the beach. It is easy to get to from the Malaga Central Station, which runs direct to the airport. A fantastic place.
Central hotel, beach marina side. Quite modern and trendy. We had an indoor 'view' but the room still seemed light and airy. Nice little bar and breakfast outside seating area. Better than a lot of other Malaga hotels.
Excellent location, in the middle of the old town, 20-minute walk from the beach, 10-minute walk from the train station that goes to the airport. Large apartment for the price, very helpful staff. Strongly recommend!
Nice large comfortable room, lovely balcony with superb view. Location 20 minutes walk from old town Malaga but that did not bother us. Cheap taxi back to the hotel in the evening if you prefer not to walk.
Very well located. Walking distance to the Marina, Old town, Train or Bus station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would try first when were next in Malaga looking for a hotel.
The hotel was perfect in every way, it was in a convenient location for both old town Malaga and the port/harbour and there was no shortage of space in the apartment!
