The location is excellent and it’s very easy to get to most of Paris within a day’s walk. It is very far from the tower, but if you begin with Notre Dame you should be able to easily move through the Latin quarter over to the tower and other things.
Both staff members I interacted with were both extremely helpful and kind!

Fabulous, spacious, apartment in center of Salamanca. It was way nicer than we'd anticipated, good price, allowed us to bring small dog. Apartment was spotless. In the UK it would have been 2x the price. Very good value for money and was the type of apartment you'd be happy to live in.

Raise your wine glass and toast the beautiful city of Bordeaux on the banks of the Garonne River. Having produced wine since the 8th century, it’s fair to say the second largest wine producer in the world is worth the trip for the vin alone. The city itself has spread outwards, rather than upwards, and the result is a very pretty town center, filled with stone mansions and terraced housing comparable to Paris.
Cultured Bordeaux is filled with museums such as the Museum of Contemporary Art and Musee D'Aquitaine. The streets provide an equally interesting exhibition of fine architecture including the Victory Arch and the Aquitaine Bridge. On the shores of the river lies the Les Chartrons district, which is a blend of ferry boat rides, picturesque views and buzzing nightlife while the bars and cafes in the La Victoire district are frequented by students.
A tour of the famous vineyards is probably on the itinerary and this can be accomplished by visiting the wineries and châteaux privately or as part of a tour. You can also worship the wine gods at the Bordeaux Wine Festival held during the summer.
Visitors can easily make the short trip to the heart of Bordeaux from the Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport. With 70 hotels and bed & breakfasts available, Booking.com allows you to discover the vibrant and friendly heart of the vineyard region.

There is so much history and so much to see, however the joy of bordeaux is you can do most of it on foot or a bike. You can literally walk everywhere in the old part of town or along the river in both directions.
It has the usual places to visit Museums, Churches, Gardens, Bridges, however i would suggest the following
Cite du Vin - Its epic and tells you everything you'll need to know about wine.
The Museum of Wine & Trade - An insight to early Bordeaux with a free wine tasting ;-)
Walk the River Promenade - Great at any time of day
The River Market on a Sunday - Has everything, Fresh oysters, Artisan foodies
Not much to dislike - except don't go to the Marche du Capucin after 12... we did and its an interesting area after its closed!!
I'd give the Intercontinental Rooftop Bar a miss too, terrible service, terrible staff attitude - not one I'll be racing back to.
So many eateries to try and for those that love shopping you will be in Heaven.

It's a great city with an excellent (and cheap) transport system. The CityPass is extremely good value for money and encourages maximum enjoyment of the many attractions. Must-see attractions include La Cite du Vin, the Base Sous-Marine (fabulous son et lumiere), boat trip and Pey-Berland tower. There are many good eating places - local brasseries/cafes with a good choice of menus. A lot of the food is meat/shellfish based but vegetarian alternatives can be found!

City was very quiet usually.
City was very quiet usually. The tram system and excellent buses meant very few cars around. I would describe Bordeaux as a very nice, clean, well organized, sustainable well run city with lots of designer shops and all the usual multinational chains. Wine dominates in Bordeaux like Golf does in St Andrews. The wine tour of St Emilion village and local vineyard showed how Bordeaux has become so wealthy over the centuries.
Really enjoyed the trip but probably not one best suited to a younger audience.
Probably won't go back, saw what we wanted to see in 5 days.

Arrived on a Friday - Bordeaux was buzzing. Plenty of cafe culture happening all around, the weather was very kind so we were able to stroll down by the river, take in some of the beautiful squares and monuments and enjoy a great steak supper.

Very beautiful city center, full of history.
Very beautiful city center, full of history. The bridge over the river is beautiful. If you go to Bordeaux for couple of days reserve a 4-5 hour slot to visit Dune du Pilat, the biggest sand dune in Europe, it is at the Atlantic , aprox 60 km from Bordeaux. Also, Bordeaux wine and chateaux.

Absolutely amazing city! It's lively and just so beautiful.
Absolutely amazing city! It's lively and just so beautiful. I could have spend another few days exploring everything it has to offer. Highly recommend Mama Shelter for drinks or food. It's a great rooftop bar with wonderful views and a perfect place to relax when the weather is nice.
I also did a wine tour of Saint-Emillion and wished I had time to do others. This is a dream destination for anyone, but especially those that want to explore wine, of course.
This hotel's decor is well-thought-out and adds to the overall charm of the property. The staff members were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, and we appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel is located within reasonable walking distance from the city center, making it a convenient base for exploring Bordeaux. We had an excellent overall experience and would highly recommend this hotel to others.
The staff was so welcoming and helpful since the check in and all the way to check out. We got there quite early for check in and they went out of their way to let us check in early at no extra cost.
The breakfast buffet is amazing and so delicious. Definitely the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in France so far.
The location was incredible. Less than 50m away from a train station that went around all the city. Walking distance from the central station. Restaurants and supermarkets close by as well.
You get what you pay for, we just needed a place to sleep while we were driving through France and this hotel isn't too central so it is perfect for somebody stopping through. In saying that, we were just a ten-minute walk from the tram so if you don't mind getting some public transport it is worth it. You can also see a beautiful view if you are lucky on the C tram line. The instant coffee from the machine in reception isn't too shabby either and is relatively cheap!
Nice hotel - perfect for a couple of night's in Bordeaux. Whilst the hotel isn't anything special on the outside, the bar and restaurant area looked more contemporary. The food in the restaurant was good, with options for both kids and vegetarians. Our kids particularly enjoyed the games area, with chess, and Xbox and table football, as well as the pool! Convenient location for travel by tram into the city centre, and very useful to have a hotel with parking.
Right from the welcome of the friendly and helpful staff, this hotel did not disappoint…we arrived by train at the Bordeaux gare and walked to the hotel ( 10 minute walk pulling our suitcases)..easy !
The room was comfortable and clean ..windows open for fresh air …lovely lobby with sitting area ..bar for a nightcap ..
We walked to a grocery store and there was a tram right out front to get to the city centre .
Would happily stay again !
We have stayed here 3 times now, as a short stopover on the way to or from southern France or Spain. The tram from the train station takes you to within 5 mins walk of the hotel - which is located in a pleasant pedestrian area and close to many restaurants and bars.
The rooms are fine, beds firm but comfortable and the rooms we have had have all been very quiet.
Staff very professional and welcoming.
Room was clean, the location is easy to get to by public transport from the airport and you can easily walk into the city centre. There is a bus stop right in front of the building and a supermarket a couple of minutes of walk away. Staff speaks English and was friendly at the check-in. The kitchenette was very sparsely equipped but was sufficient for a short-term stay.
Fabulous boutique hotel
Our room had a fantastic view onto the square
The location was good for either walking to the centre of Bordeaux and only a few minutes away from the tram stop
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming
We particularly loved the quirky bar with delicious cocktails
The location of the hotel was excellent, just steps away from the Grand Theater, restaurants, and tourist information center. City trams were located nearby to take you to various locations around the city. Rooms were a bit more spacious than other hotels in the Bordeaux area.
It was just what we needed for a short trip in France. We wanted s hotel near de train station, to go to Arcachon and LA Rochelle. We were two people. The room was a bit small, but enough for us. Very kind staff and a very good breakfast.
The location is unbeatable if you want to stay in city centre. The rooms are very comfortable, with great detail and design. We had a superior double and the apartment. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We just loved it.
I LOVED this hotel. Spacious comfortable room, beautifully decorated with French charm. Perfect central location. Great breakfast included. Very quiet, good ac and room darkening blinds. My new go to hotel for Bordeaux.
The hotel is well located, on the opposite side of Garonne river than the city centre. The heart of Bordeaux is only 15 minutes walk. The room is ok and the price was fair.
This was a very central location in the city of Bordeaux. The room was very large compared to other European hotels, the bathroom was nice, breakfast was good.
