Comfortable room, great breakfast (although the coffee was quite bitter). Generally the staff are very friendly but there was some confusion when booking in when I thought they were going to take the money out of my account again (it had already been paid from my account that morning).

The hotel isn't situated in the heart of the city. While the room was tidy, the bed was quite petite. The linens were crisp and fresh. All the amenities necessary for guest comfort were provided in the room. Parking is available, but it comes with a fee.

Home to Dukes of Burgundy for 4 centuries, Dijon is a magnificent combination of colour and culture. Set on a large square with fountains, the Ducal Palace houses a fabulous fine art museum. You can climb Philippe Le Bon tower here for wonderful views of the multi-coloured tiles typical of the city’s roofs.
Equally as vibrant are the half-timbered facades in the Old Town. The best examples are in cobbled Place François Rude, where relaxed bars and cafes offer good people watching.
On a grander scale is Place Darcy whose Porte Guillaume arch faces a shady park. Dijon’s many green spaces include huge Parc de la Colombière whose central path was considered by Louis XIV the most beautiful in his kingdom. Another popular walk is along Promenade de l'Ouche starting near the hospital and ending at large Kir Lake where you can swim.
This is an evidently wealthy city, so there are plenty of places to shop, but a must-see is Les Halles market, designed by Gustav Eiffel, architect of the tower.
Don’t check out of your Dijon hotel, apartment or B&B without touching the owl on the side of Notre Dame church – use your left hand for good luck. Dijon Airport is a domestic airport, but the city is easily reached by car and train.
Great shopping and dining experiences in Dijon. Fantastic walkable city center for shopping and exploring the historic and cultural sites. The food scene is amazing with tons of amazing and creative restaurants, local options and you have to check out the big indoor market. Great options in the surrounding area for short day trips.

Loved the place.
Loved the place. First time we’ve visited and enjoyed walking round - there are free shuttle buses to take you to places in the city but much of it is pedestrianised. Good shops and restaurants and bars. Art galleries and museums. Need to check opening timing. We found people to be friendly and very helpful to us. Would revisit. Also good to visit is Beaune - a town just down the road.

We only stayed overnight.
We only stayed overnight. The area near Les Halles had several restaurants in different price ranges.
For guests at the Hotel Wilson, set the GPS for Place du President Wilson, not for rue de Longvic, the address of the hotel - it starts a long way out in Longvic!

Dijon is a lovely old town with layers of history and architectural styles. Numerous secret courtyards to discover accidentally. It boasts delicious restaurants from traditional French to Japanese-influenced flavors and presentation. Numerous lovely cafes and boutiques. Museum of Burgundy life was weirdly cool. Musee des Beaux Arts was mostly focused on religious to renaissance painting and a wonderful Pissaro landscape. Ended with a strong exhibituon of a contemporary female French sculptor and her partner.

A beautiful city and well worth a visit.
A beautiful city and well worth a visit. It has two cathedrals and both are most attractive inside. The main street " rue de la Liberte" is pedestrianised but be careful of the scooters and bikes which roar past you. Plenty of shops but brasseries, cafes and restaurants are not always obviously located. Choose wisely and the food and price will be excellent.
The museums are all worthwhile a visit and most are free unless there is a special exhibition.
Tourist map is fairly useless

Beautiful city, easily navigated on foot.
So many good restaurants you are spolied for choice.
The museums are excellent.
Very good shopping, with many shops where you can buy regional specialities.
Walking distance from Dijon-Ville train station to the hotel. It’s the biggest and oldest hotel in Dijon, I believe. Friendly staff. Great size room With comfortable bed. The hotel is the center point of where you need to go. The meeting point for our wine tour was just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We walked the Owl’s Trail and seeing the whole town in couple hours. Visited vineyards on the second day. Many great restaurants nearby. It’s a relaxed 3 days 2nights stay at La Cloche in between our packed Paris itinerary.
Located just South of Dijon, this is an ideal location if, like me your driving from one end of France to the other, or just need a place to rest. The staff are fab, despite the slight language difficulties on my part. The food in the evenings is great, breakfast is fine if you don't mind a traditional French style.
Parking is good and the hotel is located on the outskirts of this city. If I'm traveling from Calais to Montpellier I often use this as the midway stop over, highly recommended.
The hotel is just perfekt for people travelling through. It is very good located, close to the highway. It is perfekt for people going on a vacation to stop over, rest and continue the day after. It is clear, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is ok. We travel with our 2 children and we book one room. The rooms are with a bed and a bed sofa, so that a family of four can easily stay in the same room. We always stay there when we go from Germany to south France.
I chose the hotel for the location as I was using it as a stop over coming home from the south of France by car. Therefore, I knew it was on the peripheral of Dijon. It was exactly as I expected the hotel to be in terms of position and standard of comfort.
The room was perfectly fine and we enjoyed a very good breakfast.
Such a brilliant location in the very heart of Dijon yet so very quiet. Truly individual hotel, old-fashioned in spirit, you really feel you are in France, not in some anonymous chain. A modest hotel, slightly run-down but immaculately clean, with some surviving details such as wooden stairs and brass stair-rail.
Very clean hotel, very friendly staff. Nevertheless the hotel is near the train station, the entrance in the hotel is only with a hotel card, thus, it felt safe. Also, the room was very quiet, despite the central location. Very comfortable shower and very good breakfast (taking into account that it is France).
Great location. Charming older classic small French hotel. Bathroom small but modernized. Have to climb up small creaky staircases which for me made it authentic (but for others it might be too much). Proprietor is very friendly and helpful. Great place to walk out the door and stroll around downtown Dijon.
Everything was perfect. New hotel in the center of the city. Big underground parking. Lift from the parking right to the rooms. Clean and big apartment with balcony. Parking 9 euros. Animals are allowed by 5 euros per night. Very fast WiFi. Good breakfast. Best place we’re staying in France.
From the moment you met the Hostess to the time you left we were treated like Royalty. This was the best sleep and cleanest accommodations we had in our 21days visit to France. The breakfast was exceptional. The location perfect. Parking just as described . Just loved it all!!!
Dijon is a great town. This hotel is as central as you can get. Lots of restaurants near by, museums, and the central mercato. The room was very comfortable. Everything was perfect. It's about a 12 minute walk from the train station. . . I highly recommend this hotel.
Rooms are bigger compared to other rooms in France. Lots of fun games like Football table, chess, rocking chairs, arcade and different musical instruments. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as it was quite close to the city centre and enjoyed a nearby Christmas market.
What an amazing surprise was this hotel. The hotel is small but it's complete so was perfect for us with 2 kids because they could go alone to the play room.
It has a nice swim pool, playroom, sauna and relax room.
The staff was sweet and kind with us.
New hotel with everything you need for a quick stopover if you are in transit, next to highway it was perfect for our stay on our way from south of France. Staff is welcoming and ready to help they elevate this hotel to a very cozy rest stop.
Clean, fit for purpose (night rest travelling through France) and good value for money.
Next to the electric car charger which is very convenient.
Children appreciated little chocolate eggs left as a compliment from the hotel.
This hotel is great located since is right next to the train station and within 5 mins walking you are in the city centre, it also has a nice pool and the staff is very supportive kind with the guests. The room has a nice size.
This very nice and cozy apartment is fit for a family of 4 people and is located a 5-minute walk from Dijon main train station. Easy to get the apartment keys from the key box at the entrance door. Very friendly host.
This was our third time staying on the journey across France with our children and our dog and as usual it was great. Really friendly and helpful staff, a very comfortable room and a great location with easy parking.
The hotel has a perfect location, we could easily walk everywhere. Staff were very helpful and provided us with all information we needed. Also just across the street there is a covered parking at a reasonable price.
Great location in the center of Dijon, nice and comfortable room (like a department). The staff resolved all our doubts and it was super friendly. We would definitely stay again in Hotel des Ducs.
