Very old worn out mattresses.
Noisy, smelly old dirty rooms. Close to sewage pipes. The beach is a joke, its a bunch of rocks.
The breakfast is very basic.
There has been no maintenance done,.
The owner of this hotel is using this as a cash cow.

Nice place to visit, it’s a bit pricey but nice, IMO if you want a good ice cream go to Alessandro Glacier I highly recommend it, for a great pizza Profumi d’Italia, set in a nice square. Many pubs and restaurants look over the sea.. it’s really nice.
We missed to see Les Calanques , apparently are awesome. Sunday market it’s a must lots to see alongside the sea, worth visiting

Great climate, really great for vacation.
Great climate, really great for vacation. But the restaurants on the boulevard are absolutely disgusting. Worst food ever. For good and really good restaurants you need to be in town. Don't go to the tourist-restaurants because they don't care about quality, only money.

Interesting Port town typical of the area.
Interesting Port town typical of the area. Parking is difficult and streets are narrow to negotiate. Quieter than nearby Cassis. The beaches are quieter but there is no sand, just rocks. Foot protection to enter the sea is essential,

An interesting, attractive port with views over the harbour, some industrial parts remaining. Bars and restaurants facing the harbour front. Extremely busy and buzzing at night due to street stalls all along the front and restaurant trade. Made a good base to travel for day trips to Cassis and the mountains inland. Only spent a short time in the evenings in town so did not use the beaches

Would definitely return to la ciotat, but was busy mid June, so would be too busy for us in July and August. Good choice of restaurants. Recommend Vietnamese rather than the Thai next door which was overpriced and too pushy to make you buy more.

La Ciotat is a beautiful town placed in a really nice area of the French mediterranean cost. Lost of beautiful places around to visit and enjoy. People are friendly, food is good ... what else can you ask for ?
The location was amazing - right across from the beach and near lots of shops, restaurants, markets and things to see and do. The apartment was comfortable. The mattress was firm but comfortable and the shower was fabulous! Dominique met us at the time we said we would arrive and explained how to open the gates and car park gates. She provided us with maps and information about the local area. She showed us how to use the washing machine and dryer facilities and where things were located in the apartment. She was lovely!
Beautiful and well-equipped holiday apartment situated in a multi-apartment flat. Large balcony to the south, with sea view through trees. Large and well-maintained pool for a good swimming workout. Two TV sets, in sitting and sleeping room, and fast WiFi. Private parking space. Friendly and helpful proprietor, puts up clear (albeit lots of rather intimidating) house rules, in French. Supermarket next door. Short walking distance to the rocky shore, which is not really a "beach" in this quarter.
the room was very spacious, well-lit, and clean. the beds were extremely comfortable. there was a fully stocked kitchenette with a stove, microwave, water boiler, coffee maker, and mini fridge, as well as plates, cups, and silverware. this was super handy. the location was excellent as it was right off of the old port and very close to the city center. the staff was also very friendly and let us leave our bags before check-in and after check-out.
Very nice apartments right on the Mediterranean not far from Marseille. They were a great deal for my family. The owner is an encyclopedia of information about all the amazing places to eat and things to do nearby. He was very helpful. His recommendations ended up being our favorite restaurants that we ate at in France! The rooms were clean and our kids loved the lofted bedroom. The gated parking was awesome too!
We recently stayed in this apartment during our one-week vacation in La Ciotat. First and foremost, its location is unparalleled. Nestled in the heart of La Ciotat, it provides easy access to the port, an array of shops, and a vibrant Tuesday vegetable and fruit market right below the apartment — a true highlight of our stay.
Very spacious home in a great location. Well equipped with an oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer, lots of dishes, very helpful host. We loved the small view from the couch and the access to town, and the town area was so special. We really loved our stay here. Such a wonderful surprise.
Very nice and quiet place.
All you need in the house, nice garden, terracce with grill and beautiful pool area. Also the hosts are very friendly.
Bakery 5 min by car.
La Ciotat and Cassis area is really nice for holiday. Especially the Calanques between Ciotat and Marseille.
The apartment has 2 separate bedrooms and very small saloon connected with the kitchen. It is located in the backside of the building with the view on the parking space. It is equipped with all necessary things. The beach is very close.
Good facilities in and around the hotel so that you don’t even have to leave or go far away to enjoy everything: pool, bubble baths, buffet breakfast and bar, private acces to (stoney) beach, private parking lot.
Excellent location in the historical city center. Good contact with host.
The studio has been completely renovated.
A lot of facilities available despite the limited amount of space.
The hotel is in really nice location, with nice sea view from the room! There are nearby 2 good restaurants! Room newly renovated and are really comfortable.
Really nice and cute hotel, comfy bed and right in front of the beach loved the design, you can see it’s been renovated because every appliance is brand new
